Current point capturing mechanism has put extreme pressure on active attacking side players.
There are so much advantages for defenders regardless the campaign:
infinite man power—> endless kamikaze and tanks e.g. beaufighters ju188s and p47s
2.slower point capturing for attackers in intensive battles. It is very very hard for attacking side to keep 4 players in the point.
This huge unbalance must stop.
Or I doubt the devs have intentions to reduce rewards for players.
Yes, there is absolutely no hope for the attackers in Invasion mode to win now.
The link below is a video of me playing the German Defender in Berlin.https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Qt4y1H75v/
No, I’m sure that can’t be true. Gaijin never wanted to reduce rewards. They are kind, and we totally don’t see their hooked nose behind all economic changes in their games.
The 4-man requirement to fast cap is meant as a measure to prevent “unfair” (perhaps) and surreal (for sure) situations where defenders are effectively holding the ground, yet a single sneaky dude somehow manages to take control of a strategic zone deep into enemy territory just by hiding in a corner.
I haven’t noticed any major shifting in the average outcome of matches. Sometimes one side steamrolls, sometimes it gets steamrolled, sometimes it’s a close call… Both in attack and defence.
Seriously, if attackers are doing it right, they can bring way more than 4 men on the obj.
That requires attackers be much better/ oraganized than their opponents. In case of campaigns with very long time to capture a point(e.g. Tunisia British) it would be difficult enough.
If global statistics will show a COLLECTIVE shift of win rates, they’ll adjust cap times accordingly as they use to do.
Besides, just to be clear, afaik 4 men means 4 SOLDIERS, not players, so a single player can still fast cap as long as he manages to bring in enough of his bots.
(Which leads to the endless discussion about AI being dumber than dirt and standing right outside of the cap zone, but that’s a different matter.)
