The new event even after lowering it is still too grindy

The Christmas event recently got its values turned down to make it easier, and yes, it made a large difference, but it is still not near enough.the tasks require you to kill 150 enemy soldiers, 10 veichles, 50 rally point uses, take part in 10 battles, and earn 20000 score. Killing that many people is one or 2 matches for vertans in T5 with all the good stuff, but new players might as well not even look at the event due to them being unskilled and underequipd to do any of these tasks. For the rally point and destroy veichles tasks, this makes your teammates just spam out rallies and tanks and are fighting over spots, leaving you unable to do either, resulting in not fun games most of the time. Many people do not have the time to play for 6 hours (average amt of time to get all tasks done) for every day 30 days in a row, especially when it is a holiday, and the point of it is to spend time with your family, not spend it grinding war thunder 2:infantry edition, please lower the scores required to do this, new players have always had a hard time getting unique stuff from events, this just made it 10 times worse.

It’s really not that hard. You’ve got 10 battles to work with, too. Plus, it’s for 2 days

Me and a majority of the playerbase only have an hour or to to play because of school, work, and, you know, it being Christmas, so we can’t get any progress done

simple economics for them. it’s grindy so people are continuously playing the game or they make you pay to go ahead. Also making it grindy gives more grace for new players because it takes time to learn the game, then the squad differences, then the vehicle difference then the toxic community then events. giving them time to process all that is whats best for the game

might be hard to believe but this is an international game and the whole world doesn’t celebrate christmas…

you have that right. you do you

yes,I know that, but a very large portion of this game celebrates it,and even then in their countries the event is still WAY too grindy

does the country that holds headquarters to Gajinn celebrate christmas? if not, good luck convincing them otherwise. Also remember, everyone apparently needs a marketing team for them. Look at jesus and advertising of christmas.

they do celebrate it but it’s on the 24th for them. apparently everything is just a little off in hungary lol

what do you mean by that?I am unsure what you are trying to say here

if they can make money they will, no matter the tactics…

okay, thanks, was just unsure what you meant by the jesus and christmas thing

Unfortunately some of us work jobs that are more than 12 hours a day. I personally am unable to play more than 2battles a day, at most. Thats granted if I am not working a 16hr day. (I understand it is a personal problem and not of anyone else’s fault or issue.)

I do wish the 5battles a day were a feasible challenge. If battles are 30-45minutes on average, it would take about 10ish hours a day in game just to beat the challenge. Let’s say the average was 20minutes in game per battle, that’s still 200 minutes, that would be 3.33333~ hours. Thats a LOT of time when there is only 24hours a day.

Even though it’s 10battles over “2days” that’s still a lot of time in game to be able to complete the challenge. If it was 5-6 battles across 2 days, it would be much more feasible to complete.

Again, this is all my own personal opinions and statements.
