The New Battle Pass Redesign—"The Final Solution"

The “final solution” in this post is referring to never playing another FREE game in the future because it’s just not worth it—it’s too frustrating fighting with developers to fix their games when it’s to their benefit to NOT fix the game and actually make it worse.

As for enlisted, I intend to continue to play until I find an alternative—which will definitely be a game that I pay for upfront.

If you’re still holding onto hope that Enlisted’s developers will do the right thing" for their customers, consider this: The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Here’s a short list of recent past behavior in this game: Failed Steam release, Veteran boxes that paid off nothing but crap, the Halloween event that you had to pay for in order to receive all squads (pay to grind), now changes to the Battle Pass system that completely takes away choice and increases fear of missing out (FOMO) events.

Everyone needs to do what they think is best for themselves given the history here! As for an intervention, I’ve already had one—with myself. This intervention has given me 100% control over where I spend my time and money in the future without having to interact with developers who have failed my expectations one too many times.

I agree completely,

However on the point of calling threads “The Final Solution”, we need to stop, I’ve see at least 3 threads like that in the last month. I mean its funny but it does also take away from the point of the thread

I wasn’t aware of these other threads when I wrote my post. For me, this is “the final solution” because I just can’t see myself being held hostage to decisions being made by people who couldn’t care less about the affects of their decisions. What they don’t understand (and will never understand) is that their decisions are driving customers away, which directly undermines their singular, myopic focus of making money because they refuse to focus on the things that their customers want—which is the one thing that would guarantee the money that they desire. If you want money, you don’t focus on money—you focus on other things that will bring the money in. It’s really quite simple: Focus on your customers wants and needs and you’ll have your own wants and needs met, as well.

I guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

Its not the other threads complaining about this, its just the name of the thread, maybe it doesnt translate the same for yourself, but in english “The Final Solution” is often used to refer to the holocaust.

I will chip in and give my two cents, or pennies worth (as Brit). With the change to GO tickets, I can no longer chose what vehicle I want, I have multiple versions of the Stuart, already Rhino, Carol and Flamer, Default, I do not need another Stuart, normally I would avoid buying this with GO.

Let’s take Japan for example, how many Ha Gos are in the GO garage I did not buy any of them, as I will never use them, no I will not create a BR1 line up for Japan, BR2 is main and I go no higher.

In the recent BP I got a Chi-To, I already have this, from event and I spent gold giving it the exact camo as per the GO previously, so I have now two Chi-To tanks identical, as I was “forced” to acquire this.

I don’t mind the Devs giving us option, but I see no benefit if we don’t want to claim that particular vehicle plane, I have majority of what I want already.

I think Devs have found a lot of time and effort put into unpopular GO vehicles, so now they want to ensure they are acquired, but as I said ok for the new player who isn’t a collector like myself.

But I guess I either put up with more dupes, avoid certain battle passes (unlikely) and as for FOMO, yes the time I cannot complete or get the vehicle I actually want, I’ll be pissed!

There my feedback - suggest Devs give option to keep GO tickets, if we don’t redeem, leave garage alone as we need this for our ever enticing daily login boxes…

Really ironic, sounds more of “spare silver” to waste.

exactly. there were people with millions and tens of millions of silver, so they needed silver sink. this was not feature for poor.

I gambled about 10% of my silver, mostly to get the booster ribbons to shorten the grind on some of my squads. If I got something better, then great—if not, I wasn’t going to waste all of my silver like the people I saw on Youtube. The Youtubers I saw gambled anywhere from 1 million to 4 million silver, and got nothing but crap in return—and they went belly up. I’m guessing some of them did it for “views on Youtube,” but why waste all of your silver? You couldn’t even choose the prize you wanted.

i spent around 1-1.5 million silver. got all squads i was missing+lots of vehicle skins+few weapons(mostly nothing good). unless i decide to min max couple of BR setups, that money wouldnt be spent, so i dont have problem with spending it.

Sounds like you were one of the lucky ones!

I mean yeah, I sunk like 120k like a fool. Didnt get a thing, but it wasnt meant for a newer player, though the rates were nuts, one would think after 120k id at least get a sword or a pistol.

Yeah, you would think so… Just not here!

Yea like I get the rich always said like “it mean for veterans”, what they mean is that they were meant for people who finished TT since I’m technically a veteran and I don’t play every day to unlock everything (cause that is bad for my mind).

At least this time just have a guarantee system for event weapon every 20 box and this would make it a little bit less booster/low silver
