I just get to know that most part of this game, community, PR, are all done by or under Gaijin. Darkflow itself seems never appeared in front of us.
Yesterday I visited their website and found a nearly blank one.

And then I tried to email their only contact method–their email
By using a popular outlook, and get error message from outlook, said " DNS query failed(ErrorRetry)"
WTF, even their company email are dead?
I am so curious that even we have played this game for so long, we still never has any direct interactions or saw their direct massages from the main developers of this game…
Like we are playing the game created by a blackhole… DF as a IT company that’s so isolated from the Internet is so so weird.
instead we have keofox a Russian who must use the translator not only to write but also to read English.
let’s clarify do not think badly I have nothing against him and he does what he can, I respect this few in his position paid or not would have voluntarily decided to take responsibility for an entire forum since he also works as a community manager of the Russian side, what he really is it would be necessary since all Western countries have an excellent knowledge of English to hire a native speaker as a community manager for the English part, however much you can use the translators or know English it will always be a problem to have a non-native speaker community manager for a specific language section there is always the problem of making a mistake in understanding a word or phrase or of not being able to follow the speech due to linguistic abbreviations and this is a problem for a correct dialogue between the foreign community and foreign developers.
The man him self stated that we do have English pr and a community manager for English section as well ( according to KeoFox words ).
Although, if I have to be honest, in one year of “ service “ as a somewhat dedicated player, and tester, I haven’t seen a single one outside a few elements that are marked as developers, and helpers. But no community managers what so ever outside keofox.
Russian is my native language. There are at least a couple of other Russian speakers active in the English speaking section who speak decent English.
Maybe we could think about electing an unofficial community manager (one of the existing forum mods, for example) who would monitor suggestions and bug reports and choose the most important/useful/pressing ones for me and other Russian speakers to translate into Russian? Then we could establish at least some sort of communication channel. I know it’s not perfect, but it’s something.
I think it’s pretty obvious. Gaijin is keeping Darkflow in a dungeon without internet access or any other form of communication to the outside, to slave away until they have figured out the mystery of the AI.
I guess you missed the rest of the post where I explained why it would be better to have a native English speaker as a community manager, and how lm respects (keofox) for acting as community manager for both parts of the forum (Russian / English)
not that it is not good that he knows English or uses the translator I was just “making fun”, don’t worry I am attaching it
good to know that we have them (maybe?) but we would like someone more present maybe! maybe they are just shy but this approach of making only keofox talk seems strange to me
Well, I’m not complaining about Russians coming to our section forum.
I’m complaining about Russians that are coming to our section forum telling that technically we have English forum PR and a “ dedicated “ English community manager outside keofox him self. And than, the only one showing up is the man him self and not many others. ( sounds bad, but I’m more disappointed by the people that are not showing up when they should. But now that I think about it, can’t really blain them either. For what? Taking full rants from members ? But: )
And i really hope for him that there is someone. Because making double of the work to a singular individual ( that apparently is even working part time on this project ) it’s no good. We still admire him for the work that he does along side all the others devs such as zip, and the other ones, but he and the others shouldn’t be the one taking all.
Perhaps it’s different than we though. But the lack of information doesn’t answer or counter our minds about it.

But again, for my experience as somewhat active member, we have next to 0 of active prs.
We still need to come up with some sort of system, I can’t possibly translate every topic and every comment, and even if I could, I don’t think KeoFox would read that wall of text.
We need someone who is going to work with us to monitor the forums and choose the most pressing topics.
Do we have mods in this thread? Do you guys have some sort of communication with the devs or KeoFox? Because let’s be honest, the chances of them reading my PM are… remote

he was a simple mod now it’s one of the numerous bosses
we are almost at the point where some members are working more than who should regarding those aspects.
as far as we discovered, there are payed testers to try this game, but yet they still appeal to us.
so i don’t know what those people are payed for.

funnely enough, until the discord fuzz that happened a few weeks ago, ( or last week, i don’t really know ) we found out that Keofox it’s not part of DW like we used to believe with no actual ensurence.
although, this one makes you think because he is the major guy that does things around. announce, take bug reports, and be a community manager for both communities.
and apparently, he works at part time for enlisted since he’s main job is war thunder or something similar.
we don’t know much, but the little we know tells more than what we need to know.
