The developers really need to fix movement of the player cause it sketchy and wobbly af, looks like the devs just discovered unity and added random physics to the movement of the player
Eh, I actually like it. It reminds me of Killzone. The movement is heavy, not extremely responsive. It is tired and deliberate. It feels like it takes an effort from the soldier to do what you want them to do and to be fair, I absolutely love it. The sprint is barely sprint at all as well, its basically jogging, showing that these are not super soldiers but ordinary people with a gun.
I don’t want it changed, I dont want another game where players move like a kangaroo on crystal meth, we have call of duty for that.
i find the movement okay its mainly when it comes to windows and doorways i feel its starts to feel weird
yeh ur actually right cause he devs wanted to make the game look realistic but as some other user previously said that the character looks like its drunk and sometimes dose not respond to commands. I have played Cusine Royale for 2 years before and i like the movement of the character. Hopefully the devs might wanna look into it and export the cusine roayle movements to enlisted
Yeah, the window climbing feels bugged tbh
I’ve gotten use to the weird moment, but things still get pretty weird when you are next to small objects or windows
The movement doesn’t seem too bad for me, it’s surprising how mcuch combat gear really ruins your mobility and smoothness in real life. For me though its ladders and the fact you can vault through some fairly tiny windows! The window thing gets me a lot of free kills though so I shouldn’t complain. Has anyone else found they have to jump when reaching the top of a ladder to reliably get to the top?
It’s indeed a bit wonky and needs tuning, but it does not need any changes in pacing, speed or direction changing agility. It’s part of the gameplay as it is. It just needs to be less clunky. Sometimes I feel like I’m stepping into something alive as if the ground was breathing or something.
I believe it should improve as time goes. (laughed a lot at the Unity reference though hahahaha)
Agreed. Movement, especially transitions, feel slow and clunky. Sprint jumping / bunny hoping though feels darn good in this game when you don’t have any heavy weapons / equipment.
The movement system does need work but I don’t wanna put up with people twitching back and forth like bumble bee’s.
