The Molotov coctail improvements

Probably many will notice that when we use a Molotov cocktail it seems that we are throwing a bottle of wine that magically sets anything on fire and it is extremely strange, I would say that if a redesign could be made giving it the real appearance (the animation could also be made of how the soldier lights the fuse but it would be a realistic animation but a bit unnecessary).

(a molotov cocktail)
Also during the second war, especially during the winter war and the invasion of Poland, the Molotov was used a lot not to destroy but to paralyze and cause a minor fire in armored vehicles, but if they hit the rear of the vehicle, since during that time the engines were very easily exposed without mentioning that the gasoline was located in that area, it was a very sensitive area of the tank and even more so if a liquid was spilled like those used by Molotov cocktails.

Molotov damage against take engines could probably be increased some when you hit them, although I will say that the current effect molotovs have on armor, which is to essentially blind them for quite a long time, does have real tactical value.

I remember when I first launched the game:
Tank explosion are wonderfull. We get used to it but I don’t think I have seen something that great in a video game.

But the flammes and the moltov cocktail just looks like somebody knocked down the barbecue.
Where is the thick black smoke?
Where is the spread?
Where is the mushroom that lite from the bottom to the roof of the room?

reciepe

I met a russian guy who gave me the reciepe.

  • Gazoline
  • Acetone (dissolve the plastic)
  • Plastic (make it stick and make it last)

Extra: lemon dishwashing liquid (“when life give you lemon don’t make lemonade. Get mad”)

Also, in times of need, your Russian soldier can also drink it. And then spit fire. Historical fact, honest!

I think that if you throw a certain number of Molotov cocktails at the tank engines, they will be disabled or perhaps explode, since Molotov cocktails really need an improvement, they are very relegated

They need to be buffed somehow. Maybe make them cost bronze as a temporary solution.

You only need one molotov to disable a tank: throw it onto the engine and wait for it to burn out. The tank engine will be disabled by the time the fire is out. I do this consistently

Telling bronze order for a while would be a good idea until they give him a little buff.

I think the same the Molotov during these times was very lethal
The spread could be very useful for those who don’t have a flamethrower yet or in closed rooms with a large group of soldiers defending a point .
the smoke would give him a shorter vision range through fire (and would be nice to apply with the flamethrower as well) and would also be useful against tanks. And if you don’t have AT weapons, you could use the Molotov to paralyze the tank (if you hit the engine obviously).
In fact, the molotov is currently a very useless object, it has almost no effect and it is almost impossible to hit someone without being at a close distance and to make a good target there has to be a group of soldiers and it is almost impossible to find.

Yes, they could use some improvement

Maybe dont talk about improving it esthetically, but practically.

No one would still use them

I think the Molotovs are fine as they are. They were an improvised weapon of last resort, and if you actually bothered to read more, you’d find out that more ppl were injured or killed just in manufacturing, handling and trying to use them in combat than any real damage they inflicted.
They were more of a psychological weapon than anything else and shrouded in mythology by the wartime/post war propaganda.
