I know Enlisted is fresh on the block but in the future, I hugely reccomend making the Modern event permanent

I can second this, if it weren’t for the MBTs. Two Abrams and T80U running around is either a lot of dead infantry that can’t really do much about it, or a separate tank fight that has no bearing on the objective at all.

This was a perfect opportunity to test AFVs and APCs.

eh i would prefer if they made it so that all major parts of ww2 were covered since we still need to do the pacific theater, the chinese theater and the early western front

Just by looking at the reload animations it’s pretty obvious that this was put together from already in-use assets (Guns from Cuisine Royale, Tanks from War Thunder, and Maps from Tunisia )

Yeah Keofox said they basically threw it together and used almost zero development.

to my surprise.

this event is alot of fun.

although, i don’t like the perks applied to the soldiers.

i swear, i had a few troopers that were usain bolt and were almost faster like a bike from tunisia.

so… it’s more of like cod with that.

let alone the barrett being an m1 garand on steroid.

but nevertheless, i had alot of fun.

guns feels great, ttk a bit slow, tanks that i don’t know how to destroy therefore avoid them compleately.

i’d give it a 7/10

the map of kursk is already done to perfection in war thunder something good would be that when creating a point of rebirth next to it, vehicles would appear to be able to take the long road and surround the enemy or attack from the flanks also with the infantry if it is you wish

I would too! A lot of balancing needs to be done, but I think a Cold War Campaign would be awesome! Of course, I would want them to flesh out WW2 first, but having NATO and the Warsaw Pact going at it would be ridiculously cool. This modern event has been really fun so far.

I’d say for this mode to be made permanent they need much bigger maps for IFVs, slower running Infantry and anti-tank rockets.

If they could do that I think it would be a welcome addition.

It would be cool to have all unique events be as custom game modes. So this Modern event alongside any other future events could be replayed for fun, rather than for rewards.

either that or reduce the number of tanks per side to just one, or 1 MBT+1 IFV
