My BR is 3, and I’m constantly pitted against BR 5, which is ridiculous considering I have a bolt action rifle while the folks opposing me have a submachine gun with a 700 fire rate.
and the one against me has King Tiger, while I have Panzer 4. -_-
I used to enjoy the game, but these days I don’t. Does anyone else experience the same issue as I do?

Maybe try BR 2 you wouldn’t get uptierd to BR5, If you get uptiered in BR 2 you will only face BR 3
Both of those tanks are German tanks so If you play Germany you shouldn’t see a KT opposing you
Also like I said BR3 can play against everybody here: BR1-2-3 play against each other and BE3-4-5 play against each other
If you want to have a chill experience play BR 2 and here is my 2 cents leave the matches you don’t enjoy or make you frustrated you are there to enjoy the game not torture yourself

Matchmaking only has 2 brackets.
BRs 1-3 and 3-5.
1 and 2 will never meet 4 and 5, but 3 has a chance of seeing both brackets.
To play BR 3 is gambling on the hope you fight people whose equipment you can deal with.
If you don’t want to gamble, play BR 2 and 5.

3 is gambling.
4 is consigning yourself as an underdog.
With how the matchmaking rules are right now, and especially because there is no economic incentive to play at higher BRs, one can simply stay at a lower BR, grind all the good BR5 equipment, and only play BR5 after acquiring said equipment.
I need to repeat this but- There is no rational reason to play in a BR bracket you find unfavorable with your current equipment.
No one wants to play the little man if they can help it.
If you have issues with this, advocate for changes to the current BR system.

that’s why i made this, i’d like the current br system to change i feel like it’s not well developed by the developers

There’s plenty of people making suggestions to the current matchmaking system. I’d suggest perusing them and supporting an idea you’d like, or making a more detailed suggestion.
i made this to hear that the community thinks, at first i thought i am the only one who face that problem.
I know only one single person who thinks current state of MM is just perfect.
Basically everyone else is unsatisfied.

Welcome to the forums.
I would say most people here feel the same way.
However there are a few here, that are very vocal, that will try to convince you that a bolt action is better than a BAR. Know you are not alone.

The reason why you are fighting in Tier V matches so much is because there is A LOT of Players trying to downtier into Tier II matches.
In fact this is a reason why many people want more severe punishments for deserters (that and to “save their stats”)
That’s why BR3 should have its own matchmaking

Ideally I think it should be 1 BR above and 1 Below only in a match, but they might not have the players to do that and not have long queue times.

MM indeed has problems, BUT
Pz. IV will not fight against KingTiger
And before merge, The common opponents of Pz. IV are Jumbo and T34-85, Pz. IVs are also walking coffins in front of them

Theres literally no penalty for deserting uptiers, its what I do. Ya you might waste 30 seconds to a minute leaving 1 or 2 matches at the start but whatever.
After the steam update if we get a real playerbase im sure the devs will do something, maybe +1/-1, ie if you que at BR3 you can only see low as 2 and high as 4.
