The main game issue (and how to fix it)

With every new match I played this new event I getting bigger and bigger feeling that it’s a hyperbolized endgame situation: you already have open everything in the game, played every fraction/map/mission/side 10-100-… times and you know everything, the game just can’t surprise you.
I already proposed the way to give motivation to bring old players back: Endgame metaprogress aka how to give the reason for vets to come back

But this is something else, like core mechanic issue. There is just nothing that could make every game really special. Meanwhile DF keep adding new maps/squads/vehicles the game doesn’t bring anymore unexpected situations.
In every game players have all their squads equiped as they expect them to be and play fundamentally the same missions within the same pool of spawn points…

You may say that every game is special because of players those perform uniquely. But if you become expirienced player, IMHO - there is just two ways of acting: optimal and non-optimal and that’s it.
It inlcudes everything, like:

  1. Types of squads
  2. BR of gear/vehicles + their updates
  3. Tactic/shooting/engineering skill levels

And all those points just showing you that your teammate is acting either optimally or not.
So I think, that, as I said it many times in many topics - game mechanics themself should bring if not new situations, but at least posibility of them to players.
There are several ways to make that, like:

  1. Dynamic in-game missions with in-game consequences:

For example: let’s say there are some place in the map full of allies explosive and some player got sub task to destroy it so it will block all squads from being spawned with AT rocket launchers and explosive grenades e.g. for 5 minutes.
Or in the briefing you become aware of that enemy is an expert in fighting against tanks so every killed AT troop will be rewarded with double amount of point.
Or let’s say that there are only two enemy players with BRIII tanks in BRII-III games and they are prioritized targets so again, you will get x1.5 amount of points for destroying them.

  1. Global missions with either boosters/drawbacks for axis/alies

For example: alies notices high amount of tanks in the area, so they need to destroy 10k tanks within some period of time to get some superb reward, meanwhile axis aware of this initiative and ask their troops to focus enemy AT specialists and once they will kill 30k of them - axis will receive superb reward as well.

  1. In-game random conditions (both negative and positive)

Something might just happen during the battle, like
a. Some logistics officer failed to deliver sniper rifles so first 10 minutes your snipers will be spawned without rifle with optic sight
b. or oppositely - this officer were able to get fresh AT guns/launchers and so every AT gun/launcher have +10%/10% to dmg/penetration
c. greedy mortar squads took all mortar shells from the warehouse so every mortar solider will have x2 amount of shells per unit, but after spawn of mortar squad - it won’t be available for next 15 minutes.

And so those 3 types of random activities filled with proper map/squad/solider/gear/vehicle types and numbers should bring infinite amount of unique situations to face so this game wont be boring anymore.
