The m2 sawed off is pitiful for br5

The recently added me sawed off is really terrible. For example it doesn’t have a front sight and has stats comparable to a br3 Thompson.

M2 sawed off:

M1928a1:
17514599634453121756080976857600

So I suggest:

•give it a front sight, this doesn’t have to look professional it could look ghetto but It needs a front sight, some examples:
Enforcer-660x429
This is to well made but something similar would be nice
Or perhaps something like this mosin replica:
mosin-nagant-m1891-air-rifle-27
If it was sawed off in a different place the front of the barrel could be kept

•another suggestion I gave instead would be to make the sawed off a br3 gun and keep it the same.

Yeah I played few games and I didn’t like it ,I agree on making it BR 3 .

Muzzle Velocity 440( Not 560 ) and 8.3 damage, 860 RPM is definitely not BR3
But BR4 seems worth thinking about.

I expected it would be worse than a normal M2, but holy crap is it terrible.

Not only are every stat on it nerfed but the entire front sight is missing so you cant even aim that crap.
Even then it is missing ammo compared to normal smgs even with standardised ammo based of weapon class.

If it had a front sight maybe, but without one it really isnt good.

1 would say bring it to br4 since its a stripped down version of the real thing but br3 would be strong also its for close quarter combat so its better as a secondary

To be honest, it’s not a big deal.
More than that, 440 Muzzle Velocity is the biggest problem.
In fact, it became an unlucky Kiraly.

totally agree. that weapon is absolutely trash xD

Japan has got another crappy weapon. Perhaps we can consider giving the Japanese camp the Fedorov assault rifle, which uses the same bullets as Japan. If the Japanese army captures it, they can use it directly without any logistical issues.

During the Battle of Lake Hasan , it was said that the Japanese army had captured it, but this part needs further verification. After 1925, the gun was completely turned into a reserve, and was stored only as a reserve until it was later reintroduced during the Winter War.

I used this gun and had a hell of a lot of fun with it, seems okay to me :+1:

Make it BR5 handgun.

Jk

It’s a weird gun for BR V. The high recoil and dispersion makes it somewhat unreliable to use and for reasons unknown to me the RoF is higher than on the normal M2, adding further to lessen it’s controlability. The missing bead sight just adds insult to injury.

The velocity appears to be same of the M2 even though the barrel was cut and the damage reduced but the reload got drastically reduced as well for whatever reason. Darkflow is bending credibility a lot for balance… but then again the gun isn’t a worthy BR V gun to begin with and the SMG that Japan would need to be competetive.

At this stage it’s questionable if it’s actually better than the japanese BR IV SMG options.

Most people possibly hoped to get something worth to use on their Guerillas but this gun limits them basically to CQC fights which aren’t that prevalent on most Pacific maps.

I honestly see no saving grace for this gun to stay on BR V.

The base rof is the same as for the normal M2c but since this one is classified as an smg and to an sf rifle it enjoys the perks of the smg line upgrades which boost the rof unlike the upgrades for the US M2.

I am levelling the japanese, finishing my research and i ll buy all the br5 weapons then to jump from br2. Should i go for this or for the tokyo arsenal smg for my squads? Thanks!

Tokyo arsenal definitely, if you want to get a feel for the weapons yourself you can always test them in the test range, but due to the m2 sawed off having no front sight its useless past close range.
