The M2 Carbine has WAY too much recoil and makes me not use it

Uh no? The M1 and M2 carbine were known for being easy to use light weight rifles that were accurate at long range. Even then, the recoil on the M2 Carbine makes the sights useless after the first shot. It doesn’t even 1 shot so how would making it controllable to fire in bursts be unfair to the German when the FG 42 oneshots?

In semi-auto. No WW2 gun with high ROF is accurate at long ranges, and considering this is a game, recoil is very likely altered to represent that since we aren’t fighting over 1km battlefronts.

It’s perfectly fine to kill whatever you are aiming at.

Considering it’s ROF, such a thing as the gun firing 1 shot doesn’t exist. Aim center mass, click, insta-kill. You aren’t supposed to run in a building, hold LMB and spray everywhere.

See enemy, either hip-fire or aim center mass and short click to burst, he’s dead.

If the M2 gets it’s recoil more or less removed to where you can fire full auto at 20-30 meters, so should the german Beretta considering they fill practically the same purpose with full auto, extreme danger at CQC, not so much at range. Except the M2 has semi-auto, so it can still be dangerous at range.

Use the two different fire modes. They exist for a reason.

Lol, the German Beretta has nearly FIVE TIMES less recoil than the M2 Carbine. Are you done yet bruh? This is getting boring, let someone that has something interesting to say come in here.

Sounds like a skill issue, just get good dude

Im assuming its gonna be Tiger vs Jumbo at some point.

Probably, though I’m not sure how this would work on D-day of all things.

The map is too tiny for Tiger to do anything useful without getting stuck every 2 seconds.

Yeah D-Day is dogshit all around tbh

Agree with this topic also, M2 is utter unusable, you can barely use it at 15-20 yards, Iron sights become unusable after the first few rounds, if you look at YT videos of a real M2 you would know it handles nothing like it does in game, here is a link for how the recoil should be The M2 Carbine - YouTube

definitely not a counterpart to the M1 what the actual… o-O

Now I think STG is a better option for an end-game rifle, I would rather use something stable but with less damage than something with high damage but cannot shoot accurately enough to hit the target. FG42, unfortunately, belongs to the latter category in this game. By the way, in reality FG42 has a highly effective muzzle reducer and recoil buffer, which makes it more controllable than many weapons which also use fully powered cartridge(Bar and many other things, so it’s has actually been nerfed).

the only people who dont want proper m1 and m2 carbine are those who only play germans. its as simple as that.
don’t give me bla bla bla bla and shit…

rest knows how horrible carbine family is in enlisted.
first thing is i stared playing enlisted as soon as it got open beta and still now i haven’t unlocked m2 carbine even though i only play US. i play kind of like 2-3 hrs a days mostly. and yes, i do have premium.

secondly, i see most german players talking about m1 and m2 carbine as if they play with them all the time. lol are you even serious? even in youtube there ain’t much m2 carbine video.
this clearly means people haven’t unlocked it yet.

so stop bullshitting plzzz. i am saying plzzzz.
