The lack of communication is hurting the player base

basically, the chat system and lack of it is making it somewhat difficult to communicate with other players,
its kinda hard to “make friends” because of a very minimalistic chat system.

I know allowing all across chats with even the enemy team is something that many games are kinda not supporting anymore, yet I believe that those “old school systems” have more benefits than they have negatives to them.

Many of us remember them old cod voice chat trolls and cringe edge lords, with their constant ranting and insulting, many of us however also remember that you still can make friends in public if you really want to. However thats not even my point here…

I have played so far with some random dudes in enlisted, had good rounds, got a friend request and we joined together for more rounds to play, but that was usually it, there is just no real way of sending people messages and just having a nice “chat” in the game, and I am somewhat wondering why that is the case?

Most important I think is a name indicator over friendly players, at least if you’re looking directly at them or if they have a recent chat

Coz most people add friends to in-game contacts and chat on discord, that’s what I do, I have 10 or more most nights… add me in game and if you have discord, pm me your ID.

I play most eves and early morning, but alot of people are from all over, us, Europe, all over.

You can’t even ask your teammates which campaign they want to play before you start a match. Not to mention team-mates in the game, there are so many things that everything needs to work on

Just get on discord mate, I’m a console player and I have it on my phone.

Everyday I can chose the side, campaign even equipment, we are going to use.

Yes discord exists, and TeamSpeak, pigeons or word of the street, but we shouldn’t be forced to use yet another software for something the game should have implemented long. Time. Ago.

But shovels were more important.

Like, id like to tell someone in my friends list like “hey, i cant join u in moscow right now, grinding berlin.”
I dont want to join their squad, go in a game, wait another minute to be able to talk in game and tell them all that. And dont come at me with that discord shit, I already joined the enlisted discord server but the other people that i want to talk to dont have discord/dont use it.
Also add mute function please, i dont want to read how "someone is currently jacking off their boyfriend and now their mouse is all sticky teehee :smile: "
