One of the most forgotten factions in Enlisted: Italy.
Italy is largely ignored by Darkflow and somewhat undervalued, but I believe there’s potential to be unlocked. The Italian campaign was one of the longest-lasting campaigns of the war, from 1943 to 1945, and the Allied advance was very slow, which is why the Allies ultimately decided to invade Normandy.
Another aspect of this sub-faction is the uniforms. Italian squads only use Italian uniforms in Tunisia (except for premium units), which contributes to the general neglect of the Italian faction.
While the option to change nationalities is indeed useful, the uniform remains German. Italy fought on the Eastern Front and also on its own territory, so using German uniforms seems almost comical to me.

I don’t demand that they use the exact uniforms, but I do want them to be much more detailed and have more variations (like the customization options the Russians and Germans have in Stalingrad).

I believe that for the maps depicting the Italian campaign, the Germans and Italians could share the “Telo Mimetico/San Marco” camouflage pattern.

Honestly, many other things would need to be added to this suggestion. I’m not suggesting that Italy should be separated from Germany, but rather that things should be added to make the faction more distinctive, similar to what was done with the British squadrons.
