Can anyone confirm if the increased detection range actually helps tail gunners? I give mine increased peripheral vison perk so they can catch them to the side quicker but Iā€™m not sure if the detection range perk makes them shoot sooner.

Yes twice as early, very effective, also flight stamina are helpful, your tailgunners can black out too!
