The idea of a Steam bundle

The release of the Steam version has been temporarily suspended, but I honestly don’t think the contents of that bundle are worth the price.
It is not attractive to pay $70-$130 and get a variation of a grease gun. You can get a comparable one right away. It is clearly a collectible product bought by people who are comfortable with the game.
The Colt Monitor is somewhat more appealing, but I still have to question whether it is worth $130.
The fact that it only comes with 15 medkit and 5 dynamite is also a bit of a stingy.
I think when you re-release it you should add a few more items to the current ones.
Here are some suggestions of what to add

Equipment
You could give a lot more equipment, such as anti-tank explosives and grenades, and I would like to see the level of “fully equipped” achieved, which would go to all troops in the deck. The performance of the troops will vary greatly depending on whether this is available or not.

30 frag grenades
10 Explosion pack.
10 TNT
6 anti-personnel mines
6 anti-tank mines
30 water bottles
30 medikit
5 binoculars

The above will be given to each squad.

In addition, each camp will receive a Tier 2 CQB weapon that they can equip their own squads with, except for the Premier.
New users will want weapons that represent WW2, so they must represent each faction.

Soviets, 6 PPs-42s.

Germans, 6 MP-40s

USA, 6 Thompson M1928 (20rnd)

And how about giving the US 6 Thompson M1928s in a version converted to 20 round magazines and down to Tier 2?
This should be the M1928 USMC that Pacific’s premium squad has, with the vertical foregrip removed and slightly reduced performance.
Simply replace the existing M1928 magazine with a USMC one.
This would be a unique weapon only available in the bundle.

Japan, 6 swords.

Premier accounts will be given for 30 days; 7 days is too little.
Normal people play on weekends, so even if you give 7 days, unless you are a good gamer, you will only feel its effect for 2 days.
Gold should be given about 1000 gold, which is enough to buy an elite battle pass.

I played against a player today who purchased the Steam bundle and he didn’t score much. I doubt he enjoyed the game.
This game has RPG elements to it, and it is a game that finally becomes fun as you level up your character and collect equipment.
When you don’t have the right equipment, it is difficult to achieve high scores, and then you have to be patient because you don’t have the money to buy the equipment. Paid users should be given the right to skip that part.
I hope Darkflow will show some respect to new users who pay $70-$130.

Playing this game will numb your sense of money, but $70-$130 is a lot of money there. That’s a lot of money to spend on a game.
With that much money, a family can eat at an inexpensive restaurant and buy new game software.
No one who pays that much money to play should be made to do the painful early grind of this game.
I am glad that Darkflow is monetizing the game and keeping our playing environment healthy, but they could be more respectful to their paying users.
No one will pay for a service that doesn’t respect its customers. That is not good for the users who already play.

With that money can you buy Helldivers 2 and Palworld.

Yeah. If a new player buys this game without knowing anything about it, I think they will regret it and wish they had bought another game.
Everyone would think that if they paid $130, they would receive more luxurious treatment, but that is not the case with the current product.
Darkflow should never make anyone who paid $130 regret it.

I like this game. It is a fun game.
It is fun in a way that CoD or Battlefield cannot be.
The grind is also worthwhile. But that is only if you have a squad that can score.
Darkflow should not make new players do the tough grind with weak squads. The only motivation to keep the game going under such conditions would be hatred and masochism towards other players.
It is not healthy. :cold_sweat:

The two premium squads included were just too lackluster. They should’ve added squads like the Erma Emp from Tunisia and the Moscow Lewis squad. Gold added should’ve been enough to buy the cheapest premium squad.

Yes, the premium squads included in the bundle were good to buy for collecting purposes but not squads that would give beginners an advantage.

For my part, I think giving additional items to enhance the bundle is a good idea and I hope the developer will seriously consider it.
More items would be a good apology to the users for the abrupt suspension of sales and delay of the Steam release.

I bought the first bundle (20 $) only to merge my account with Steam.

All these bundles are useless, even for a new player. Premium Grease gun has horrible sights, pay-to-lose.

What you give beginners should be fun, not barebones. imo

Mines do not provide fun nor interesting gameplay. From my perspective, it’s just pure toxicity.

Or 7-13 Witchers 3 GOTY, devs are insane if they think that deluxe bundle is worth this much money it should be max $30 and more realistically $20, only Colt Monitor and MG13 are worth the money, two premium tanks and smg squads are not.

They should be competitive when fighting vs BR2 players. They can have a slightly different stats but not be completely overpowered. M2 Hyde and MP41 premiums would be much better fit for that bundle and i still believe all those premiums from deluxe should be included in $20 purchase. They should make another $20 bundle with 6 premiums for Soviets and Japan (They could bring MK Matilda and Type 95 Ro-Go from WT as the premiums). They went way too greedy with their packs, if they are pricing BR1-3 packs at $100 then i don’t even want to see prices in future when we get BR6.

Stop crying lol. I bought it and I do not regret it. xD

Literally nobody cares it is not bundle for you.

Just because you are sucker that don’t value his money doesn’t mean that rest will be as irresponsible with the money as you are.

Enlisted better care since almost nobody have bought their Steam access because it was and still are a scam that has very bad value for my money.

xD it literally has the similar value to 100e gold bundle. I guess I can just make a math unlike someone

the 20 USD pack definably deserve at least 15 days of premium. The beginner bundle which i don’t remember the name gives you for 2k gold, 4 low BR premiums squads and 30 days of premium.

The value of $70 or $130 is up to each person.
Some people may think the Steam bundle is worth the money. The price is lower if you buy the bundle than if you buy each premier squadron separately.
In fact, if I were a die-hard fan with money to spare and wondering which premium squad to buy next, I might buy the bundle. It is attractive as a collector’s item.
BUT…I’m skeptical that an uninitiated newbie would pay $130 and think what he paid was worth it to get an under-performing M3 submachine gun and a Colt monitor that performs reasonably well but still doesn’t dramatically make play easier.
Open-top self-propelled guns can also be difficult for beginners to handle. I should have played it safe and given them their own version of the Sherman tank.
Who is the bundle for? Why launch on Steam?
Considering that, I have to say that there are problems with the content of this bundle.
I think ideas like the ones I suggested are necessary for people who are just getting into the game to be able to play somewhat on par with the players who have been playing before them and to feel that they are playing a WW2 game.
It is not a good idea to change something that has already been sold or replace it with something else. So I think adding plenty of equipment, a tier 2 submachine gun, and a unique Thompson if possible would be a good idea.

These two more expensive bundles are clearly not for newbies.
Why?
First of all, they were not available via steam. That means you could only see them in the classic store. Meaning, from perspective of newbies, they were just another store bundles.

My understanding is, the more expensive bundles are for veterans who wanted to celebrate and support the developers at their game’s release on Steam.

Literally nothing controversial from my perspective. Compensation for already owned squads was fair. It was definitely more interesting purchase than classic 100e gold pack.
