The release of the Steam version has been temporarily suspended, but I honestly don’t think the contents of that bundle are worth the price.
It is not attractive to pay $70-$130 and get a variation of a grease gun. You can get a comparable one right away. It is clearly a collectible product bought by people who are comfortable with the game.
The Colt Monitor is somewhat more appealing, but I still have to question whether it is worth $130.
The fact that it only comes with 15 medkit and 5 dynamite is also a bit of a stingy.
I think when you re-release it you should add a few more items to the current ones.
Here are some suggestions of what to add
Equipment
You could give a lot more equipment, such as anti-tank explosives and grenades, and I would like to see the level of “fully equipped” achieved, which would go to all troops in the deck. The performance of the troops will vary greatly depending on whether this is available or not.
30 frag grenades
10 Explosion pack.
10 TNT
6 anti-personnel mines
6 anti-tank mines
30 water bottles
30 medikit
5 binoculars
The above will be given to each squad.
In addition, each camp will receive a Tier 2 CQB weapon that they can equip their own squads with, except for the Premier.
New users will want weapons that represent WW2, so they must represent each faction.
Soviets, 6 PPs-42s.
Germans, 6 MP-40s
USA, 6 Thompson M1928 (20rnd)
And how about giving the US 6 Thompson M1928s in a version converted to 20 round magazines and down to Tier 2?
This should be the M1928 USMC that Pacific’s premium squad has, with the vertical foregrip removed and slightly reduced performance.
Simply replace the existing M1928 magazine with a USMC one.
This would be a unique weapon only available in the bundle.
Japan, 6 swords.
Premier accounts will be given for 30 days; 7 days is too little.
Normal people play on weekends, so even if you give 7 days, unless you are a good gamer, you will only feel its effect for 2 days.
Gold should be given about 1000 gold, which is enough to buy an elite battle pass.
I played against a player today who purchased the Steam bundle and he didn’t score much. I doubt he enjoyed the game.
This game has RPG elements to it, and it is a game that finally becomes fun as you level up your character and collect equipment.
When you don’t have the right equipment, it is difficult to achieve high scores, and then you have to be patient because you don’t have the money to buy the equipment. Paid users should be given the right to skip that part.
I hope Darkflow will show some respect to new users who pay $70-$130.
