This is sizable problem with an easy solution, and it’s the AT loadout of the 506th para-regiment “Filthy thirteen” (premium paras) and the 7th para-batalion (From the “Reinforcements recieved: Normandy paratroopers” event.
The problem is the M1 Bazooka and its 60mm of penetration at BR5, you can destroy Panthers from the side if you’re lucky but Tiger 1’s and KTs that are used the most? Forget that! Tiger 1 has 82mm of armor from sides and rear. The King Tiger has “just” 80mm of armor there.
And therfior Ipropose a simple solution: Give them them the more advanced M9 bazooka with 102mm of penetration zhat is capable of dealing withe them.

Fun fact:
The M1 bazooka can pen the rear of the Tiger II (H) turret ring but not of the Tiger II (P)

Even though it definetly isn’t the best AT gun they could get at least it can pen the sides of every western tank for now because it has 90mm of pen and the thickest side armor of the most armored western tank (jumbo) which still has “only” 76mm, and that is still lower than the penetration values of the GrB-39.
That’s great to know… How many times did you get behind King Tiger that is sitting on the edge of grayzone without getting melted by infantry/the tank itself?
The allies do not need more effective paratroopers they already have ones for all BR technically except for BR1

Yes, I agree that they are effective, OP in certain areas (for example in point-cleaning) and that they should not recieve more for the time being (give some love to Japan for once) but that still does not mean they should’ve one loadout option that is almost unusable
For example: both Soviet paras get the panzerfaust which has 3x or more the amount of penetration the M1 has (180mm w/PzF60 and 220mm w/PzF100 IIRC), but with the event ones you ned to be at least BR 3+ and with the prem. ones it doesnt matter since they get panzerfaust on any tier (even in BR1 which is crazy and also technically makes BR1 squad better at tank destruction than BR5 squad) and the GER/ITA paras in BR 5 most of the times, but the only reason nobody uses the AT loadout on the ITA paras are because “flamethrowers duh”
I also understand that they are terying to balance it like that but by making it impossible to destroy Pz4J (BR3 tank) from the front? come on
If you’re gonna buff one side it will destroy the balance of paratroopers more than it already is Germans don’t even have any low level paratroopers to support their new bloods and they’re being decimated by the paratroopers there already and yes the Japanese need more as well

I’m still talking about BR5 paras that have no chance of getting into BR1 or 2 since a lot of German mains are enjoying their time with FG42-IIs and that kind of stuff. The only paras the new guys can meet are the BSA Welgun guys and the Soviets.
But I understand your justified concern, new players are important.

The only reason everyone uses the FG is because it doesn’t have the Curse of dispersion so heavily on it except for the sniper variant and the grenade launchers bugged so we can’t even rely on that one from the event and when you are on BR5 there’s no second chances so you need to make your shots count

The BR5 is like joining CoD:MW2 (2009) lobby with the amount of toxicity the players can provide at times, but it has the highest skill ceiling of the game, which is also fun in a weird way.
Also the fact that the rifle GLs are almost always broken should considered as standard at his point and time.
