The Gerät 03 is a 20 round, semi automatic rifle, currently sitting in BR 5. The same BR thats dominated by full-automatic rifles like T20, AVT and so on.
Its very very outclassed.
Im proposing to have it moved to BR IV.
It also would make it balanced against very similar allied counterparts, for example:
G30R: Semi-Auto, Mag-fed, 20 Rounds
SVT Bubnov: Semi-Auto, Mag-fed, 20 Rounds

Would make an excellent addition to Germanys already solid BR4 lineup. I just wish we got some sort of a “Balance Update”. I only remember there being 1 or 2 sets of BR changes since the merge, but we are in desperate need for a major BR overhaul. We have Test Servers, can we please put them to good use?
Not to mention the Gerät deals less damage than G43 - and thus doesn’t 1 hit kill vs Soviet bodyarmor + Vitality
This is one of the more obvious and justifying changes they should make.
Sure, they (ammo) buffed it in the past a couple of times (increased spare mags from 15/15 to 15/30 and now increased mag size, making it 20-40).
But no high capacity Semi-auto is BR V in the first place
And a 9 men squad doesn’t make it BR V worthy, as they seem to think.
I’m tired of this squad collecting dust.
We need to start making BR IV a class worthy of its own now.
IV should be the home of SA, MGs and SMGs.
BR V is the place for automatic/assault rifles and a few high mag capacity MGs and SMGs
IMOP fully auto / semi auto’s should be the dividing line between level 4 and 5, thus making this gun a level 4.
