I did not understand very well, but I think it is because your m1garand, this maybe level 1 (that is, 1 star), since when the semi-automatic rifles are level 1 the percentage that the shots come out with a certain deviation is quite high, The best thing to reduce this deviation of shots is to take the weapon to the maximum level.

Nope is because him don’t accompanies the shot, the semi-automatic if you remember have a lot recoil that forces you to reposition the sight every time

it must be that.

Garand max star is actually pretty good.
It’s as good as other semi auto.

Of course while the counterpart is the Gewehr, it never reach the level of a FG42.

FG42 is very strong because it is comparable to thz BAR while the BAR can only be used by LMG squad.

Blame semi auto RoF nerf. That killed all of fun from using semi auto.

I missed that update, was wondering why I’d suddenly find myself holding a loaded, ready to fire semi-auto and nothing happened when I was clicking fast. It’s nonsense.

I also don’t like the Garand at all. The reason is that you can’t aim properly due to the strong recoil and the iron sight is very bad in that game. That’s also one of the problems of Enlisted: A good rifle is a rifle with a simple iron sight that gives clear view around the target. Now the problem is that bolt-action rifles are overpowered, so it’s better to use bolt than the Garand.

I can perfectly aim with the garand. Are you on console? You just have to guess the middle of the front side.

I also down a lot of enemies with the garand. I didn’t like it at first but now im thinking of buying a lot of garands cause they really rock at assaulting buildings and groups of enemies

The sight is too large to aim properly because it will hide an important part of the target itself. Also the round part of the iron sight hides a big part of the screen. While this can be helpful in real life, this is useless in the game. In a game that requires aiming and killing in less than a second, this is a big disadvantage and you can’t afford to “guess” where the middle is. If you need to kill enemies at close to mid range, use the automatic M2 carabine, that comes later in the game but is a very good choice.

cant agree. That thing is as capable as the G-43 even on mid to long ranges. But sure the bolts are always going to be just slight better and reliable on long though but thats fair. That doesnt mean that you cant accurately pull of headshots at long with the semi autos

I don’t have to judge where the middle is. I just see it instantly. And if the sights are this way in real life it should be the same way ingame. Like I said I can aim very well with the garand rifle and don’t feel limited by the iron sights. Fair enough that you can use other rifles if you dislike the garand.

Havn’t got the M2 carbine yet but looking forward to it

Indeed. Self loading weapons do have mechanical limitations to how fast they can fire in semi-auto mode, but those limitations are not THAT harsh. Feels like firing a revolver more than a semi-auto rifle.

I assume they’ve done that for balance, but it’s such a dumb crutch of a measure. It’s like the game doesn’t have an actual developer team, only a couple of interns adding the outsourced 3D models and tweaking the outsourced code here and there.

Take it to the practice range and you’ll see that the shot deviation on low star M1’s is awful, even aimed.

It’s a rifle that’s best fully upgraded.

My max upgraded Garand squad usually does very well. When I switch to a newer squad with lower tier rifles, I can empty an entire magazine in the direction of the enemy and get no hits.

Unlock it in 20+ lvl in Tunisia. You will be satisfied.
