Neither of those scenarios are enjoyable. Furthermore, both of those scenarios are shit player experience.

No it’s not that bad. Only 90% of the matches are steamroll. It could be worse.
For fast grind sure is not bad, is sufficient leave the losing match and join the winned one

COD, war thunder, WoT, WoWs, and tannerberg
Whay battlefield because all battlefield before BV5 keep have an healthy playerbase and community support (except 1943)

i mean, BFV wasn’t that bad if you skipped the major problems ( of lack of content, and bad optimizations with lots of bugs ).
and somehow, ( i mean, with hard work i think ) enlisted manage to be better.
but just like any online fps out there, you can’t really controll the playerbase.

BFV was that bad because it come after BF1 wo is the masterpiece of the series, BF1 for gameplay, single player and graphics is ahead 10 year in comparison to BFV/2042

which the problem at task at hand, needs some xp tweakings, campaign levels reworks… and… more than that, idk.

This sounds like a Berlin moment for me. It’s rare to have a battle there last more than 15 minutes, no matter the game mode. Either one side is sweeping or it’s the other, very few good matches that make you feel like you got your times worth out of it.
BFV nowadays is full of hackers. I played in Asia server and most of the round it have hackers, using super speed or bot aim. Every match there must be some guy calling each other hacker in the chat.
Hardline was good, the interaction with the city was very fun
All we need is a “play any campaign” option and a team balancer which would ensure X good players, X ok players and X noobs on each team.
Its because of all the BS they added, because all the BS they didnt fix.
It all adds up to just a shit game.
Everyone knew how exploitable this game is, but no one did because back in the beginning of OBT everyone didnt really know how to play. Now you can exploit anything.
Back in the day it was less exploitable if you can believe XD
Bombs did friendly fire, artillery did friendly fire, i think mortars even did FF.
Now its just press 7 on objective with no regard for the team. Or fly straight into an objective with a plane dropping ordnance on the last second.

Nobody used to do this shit. Now that people realized that the game is exploitable af, so they exploit it. Matches in Berlin or Moscow with veteran players on both sides is just a fucking hell hole. Artillery firing non stop, explosion placks flying non stop, hell dont even take out a tank. Planes crashing nose first into the objective, Select fire rifle spam, full auto spam. Semis and BAs cant compete.
Game is a shitshow. Glory days are over
