i think from now on every time i die i am just going to let them kill off the rest of my squad there is just no point in trying for the current squad thats spawned in at that point because they won’t let us have orders such as STAY or DEFEND YOURSELF or DON’T FOLLOW i must confess this has got to be the most broken squad Ai system i have ever seen in my 15 years of playing fps games
i rather be on my own and at least that way i am not wasting supply as fast
i learned a few days ago having big squads is not a good idea having smaller squads i am less noticeable up to a certain point i am just getting so sick and tired of seeing my squad sitting there having there finger up there butt and being a target dummy on some kind of shooting range for persons that knows how to kill right at medium and long ranges
yeah everyone i know you all love this game and feel it can do no wrong and all and i know you all hate your baby having a real truth being told on it but your just simply wrong at this point what your all saying its just not there i looked at the order list only choices i get for the whole squad is stay at medium range in passive mode or be in aggressive mode when they getting shot at when it should be as soon as they see a enemy target to shoot on sight what i am wanting does not exist and what i am asking is very basic stuff here its not like i am asking for the whole universe
If you want your squad to stay somewhere. Look at the ground and press X on your keyboard. They will stay there until you move too far from them.
They are not terrible to bring with you however. They are great at hitting enemies at a distance since they are not effected by brush and foliage. Just place a marker by the enemy and they will snipe them with decent reliability.
They are also great for quickly switching to when you are down and wounded. Rather than bandaging yourself, just quick swap to a squad mate and keep fighting. The AI will bandage up for you.
Don’t blame the game and accuse us of blindly supporting it just because you could not be bothered to learn basic game mechanics.
ok what i mean by stay is it don’t matter how far i am away from them they don’t move i got lucky enough one match did not even mean to entrap the rest of them when i got shot i was able to switch to the next squad mate i wanted to run with and one at a time i did manage to get more use out of my squad in the lone wolf idea then making myself more of a noticeable target
now having said that don’t sit there and justify to me with a straight face that the idea can’t be done and that it can’t be coded into the game because i feel it can be
