Choosing to make a comedically awful event nobody will care about after making the previous battle pass last twice as long (after promising the new format will prevent delays, keep in mind) and a disappointing sword event is certainly an interesting choice. I’m impressed by the level of tone deaf.

It’s ironic that after making a big deal about the new battle pass format preventing delays, it ended up lasting as long as the old longer battle passes, yet with less content.

players expected a proper event after all the waiting & only little events.
going against reasonable expectations just creates frustration & distrust.

instead try to drop a proper event asap & do proper community work by feeding fun hype; eg drop some posts about the soviet-jap campaign/event/jets/upcoming weapons/whatever, anything thats fun and not boring and disappointing.

Where is the Cosmetic Toggle to turn off Zombie Pz IV, Halloween Sherman, Giant Reindeer and Devil Halloween decals?

hasn’t that been “in the works” since the Halloween BP event? I honestly forgot we were promised that feature

We need tanks to change basic color by default based on the map (yellow Pz III in Tunisia, white in Moscow, green in Normandy, etc.

Just a basic feature like this that uses existing tank skins would help so much in making the variety of content less jarring

It should be the same as how soldiers wear weather-appropriate clothing depending on which campaign a player gets.

• Vehicles should have default skins for each map group using similar system as soldier customization
• To keep fancy camos that players paid gold for relevant, default skins should be mono color only
• Players can still adjust/change the default appearance exactly like soldier customization (vehicle appearance orders when?)

For example, the default appearance of a German tank would look(sort of) like:

Cold maps (Moscow/Stalingrad/Battle of the Bulge)

Temperate maps (Normandy/Berlin)

Warm maps (Tunisia)

(also more vehicle deco like a random tank # and Balkenkreuz/faction equivalent for every player’s vehicle would be nice to have)

Sounds like it was “considered by the devs” just as a gesture to calm down the poop storm they received for Fortnite Halloween skins in the main game.

Typically, I do not have much to say on mini-events like these but this is ridiculous. Just yesterday the devs removed GOs permanently and that was after an incredibly disappointing “compensation” event. Is it really that hard to just add a singular event vehicle or maybe some actual firearms? You gain nothing by doing this but yet you insist upon it.
