for people that like to collect stuff ingames (me included) its always nice to have free stuff for a limited oportunity for the trade of my time.
i can live with that. even if i had to trade my time, to do some tasks for stuff i would probably use regardless of the outcome. its a game, a casual one, and i want to have fun with it. said items can possible provide me some fun so why not. they are free, and if they dont apear no more ingame, they will be rare items to show.
if twitch drop items wont apear no more, we right now have unique stuff that didnt cost us nothing more than a twitch session runing on the background as we played the game normaly, and i m “glad” i have them on my collection. same as this ones if i manage to get them. i ill be glad they did deliver something for free with just a tradeoff on my time.
people spend hundreds on a simple skin that covers a weapon ingames, here, they give free unique content that costs nothing than our time to get it (looking at the objectives they are as easy as they get) and people are still mad… there is no middle term.

Now watch it be like 300 rifle kills, THEN 25 victories in Berlin the first two days.
(Not to mention, we all know what’s going to happen to queues and matchmaking when people will want easy wins in Berlin)

I just wished they added a double xp weekend to this event. That would have been nice.
The main problem with the rewards is pretty simple.
The Fw is a joke. There is no way around it. It’s a straight down-grade from the base plane of the same class. It’s a total meme.
I can’t really comment on the US tank. I don’t play Normandy. I hate Normandy.
What I can comment on is that SMGs in general are really strong in Berlin. Especially the Russian side. They have way too many bullets at hand for an SMG. I mainly play Berlin campaign as Germans. I’d like to believe that I’m fairly good, but I still have a horrendous winrate there. (It’s not something where a single weapon is entirely at fault, but it’s a big contributor.) Now my point is that Russians in Berlin are the only ones who actually get anything useable out of this event. Who already have a better winrate there in general. This does not help established Russian players, but will get new ones up to speed in the campaign. Simply because they have a solid squad choice at all times from the very beginning. Not to speak of the fact that they can now rotate 3 different Assaulter Squads as F2P. LUL

But IMHO best thing about Summer Event… is how it tricked us to play one more even of 17-19 th July with no rewards … which allready could been claimed at 15 th July
Kalamshnikows are nice but pretty bad in a sea of smgs, on the other hand sword is prertty neat and also we got 4 large backpacks, some exp packs…

Agree with you 100% on pretty much every point you raised here. Even though at the end of the day all you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on it’s still good to voice these (valid) critiques .
