So the first “Operation Summer” task-based event ( Operation “Battle Summer” - News - Enlisted) seems kind of a kick in the head for one Nation to me, speaking as someone who plays all of them.
When i looked at the rewards I was intrigued, a russian premium squad with kalashnikov SMGs, an american tank with improved ammo and a deer-catcher, and then… glorified target practice for the russians in moscow, a reconnaisance plane that is essentially just an absolute downgrade to anything that can be unlocked quite early in the Moscow Campaign.
A Focke-Wulf 189-A1 reconnaisance aircraft, two 7.92mm machineguns, some 50kg bombs (4x) and sub-par speed and mobility.
Now I ask you this, are those three rewards fair to all nations considered?
In all honesty none of the stuff is particularly useful to anyone, but here’s my take:
In my opinion every nation should atleast have something that is worth the time grinding an event for, in the case for the Battlepass rewards and events, germany has lost out twice already with the Gewehr 1888 being no better than a Vz 21, all while the USSR atleast got a meme-gun. They could have given Moscow Germany an He 112 or similar, but instead they get something that is overshadowed by everything else unlocked in that campaign, again.
Germany has gotten some good stuff in the past, mostly paywalled though such as the Pz38(t).
Im not satisfied with these event rewards, and im hoping that Darkflow sees this and doesn’t go down the route of one nation always losing out over other nations. I wouldn’t wish the americans a Swordfish Mk I at D-Day, or the soviets a BT-5 in Berlin and neither should you.
I want all nations to have something worth looking forward to in these events, but this is off to a bad start. Cheers.

The 189 is great fun in WT - as manouverable as all heck and in Enlisted it will have great visibility - certainly better than the Hs 123 as currently implemented.
But generlaly… the “rewards” are pretty meh… nothing inspiring… unless the sworrd fits in the knife/axe slot and you can hack and shash with it!!!

The 189 being “great fun” in WT, might be just so, at BR 1.3.
However this is Enlisted, and its maneuverability compared to anything else right now is absolutely atrocious.
There is no reason to use this plane aside from the memes.
Right now balance looks like this:
BF 109 E-1 > Yak > BF 109 F-1 > I-16 > I-153 > HS 123 > FW 189
Its a waste of time adding this aircraft.
It is outran by any aircraft, each engine at only 400 Horsepower, the turnrate is deceptive since its a large aircraft, the firepower is absolutely subpar and the visibility is debatable as the forward mounted MGs don’t have an actual crosshair.

It was a weapon sample that Senior Sergeant Kalashnikov created literally at the factory with his comrades during his treatment after being wounded. Rumor has it that he borrowed many of the developments just from Thompson, who at that time was in separate units of the Red Army.
Almost all parts were made by milling, therefore, the PPK-42 was not adopted for service, since it was more expensive in production than PPS and PPSh.

i might be interestred in the sword, but a giant-slow-paper airplane for the germans, and a mad max m5 ( which looks amazing )?

and at this point, i feel like a clown for almost critizing everything, but i don’t do that if i don’t have resolutions.
anyway, we’ll see how it plays out.
glad to see something to do in the meanwhile at least.
but yeah, rewards are not remotely even close.
but the thing that i don’t like:
- You can complete any task with gold, and the more progress you make towards a task’s completion, the cheaper it becomes.
please stop it.
it doesn’t make it any actually " unique " if everyone can just buy it.

I will never understand why ppl complain about FREE STUFF… those are all meant to be collectibles and won’t really bring advantages to the faction receiving those whatsoever…

Heres the free stuff argument.
Friend, this is time and effort put into things that do not benefit anybody.
Time and effort that could be put into fixing the game and adding actually useful things.
People don’t stay because of “free stuff”. People want proper content, a working game and interesting things to unlock and work for.

If I put you and somebody else next to each other, and I give you an apple, and the guy next to you the deed to a new house, then stare at you smugly, you have every right to be upset.

I like free stuff, and am happy about receiving unique cosmetics 
as for the time and efforts, it takes time and I’m glad they release freebies in-between. But if being upset is your thing, well… you do you 🤷 I for one will enjoy charging mg nests with my fancy sword (dying sure, but with style) in preparation for when the Japaneses get implemented.
