Other than a few new maps, what would a mid war Soviet or German force actually bring that’s new to the game?

I would much rather see campaign in Italy than on eastern front, give us something new instead of something we saw thousands times.

Hope they find a way to separate it from Moscow, don’t really want to grind out the same equipment again soo soon

so many places to cover, in war thunder we can see just a glim of what it could possibly be:
( of course it has to be tweaked for gameplay and infantry purpouse. but nontheless, very interestring indeed!

Map wise it would be awesome, I just don’t want it to be a copy and paste of Moscow.
This is the issue I think with separating the campaigns so uniquely.
In terms of small arms, there’s likely no real difference between Moscow and Stalingrad, rather than more Papashas.

first of all, tanks.
and it would be a great time to introduce kv1s, t34s, kv2s, pz IV with long 75 mm, tigers, stugs IIIs
second of all, germans can use g43s against russians, russian gets the PPS, more weapons, more new anti tank guns.
there’s quite a lot of variety.and honestly, i’m really wishing for dinamic weather like fortified district.
maybe heavy rain as well?.
it would be amazing.
but that’s what i think of course.

stalingrad has been in the files for ages same for tanks that foguht there such as kv1/t-34
Not a huge issue considering we have Germany in all 4 campaigns
I would replace Germany with Italy in Tunisia and then add Stalingrad
Adding more Eastern front battles will only benefit this game. If we remember, Enlisted is the first FPS game to implement eastern front after 10 years
I hope they do a grain elevator map like red orchestra 2
only this time have the assault system way more badass and once you enter the building as axis you start spawning on floors and have to fight your way up. Only thing i hated about that map in RO2 is how is gimped the floor by floor fight by always having axis spawn outside.
maybe 1939 Poland campaign where u can chose Germans or Poles or even clap Poland cheeks with Russians teamed with germany

I see Stalingrad; however, I’m drooling over the last folder Tunisia. I’m thinking more vehicles available, trucks, armored cars, and more open ground…
That’d be pretty sweat for a change of pace. Moscow close in knife fights, Tunisia a much more open battle, and Normandy somewhere in the middle.

True, I would like to see Italian and Romanian troops in Stalingrad in that case, with weapons from both these nations, that would help make it not feel so copy/pastey.
I’m sure, as you have said that there could be some epic battles with the introduction of Dynamic weathering.
Maybe I am just being overcautious.
We shall see.
I do hope that the far east appears soon though!

If it would be only in Stalingrad, then there would be only Romanians, and weapons that Romania primary used we already have in Moscow battle. They used ZB 26, Vz.24 and another czech weapons. Soo Romanians would actualy have been copy paste. Only another nation that fought in city was Croatian Legion (369th Croatian Reinforced Infantry Regiment).
