I’d research, but I have had too much whiskey. Did USSR actually use UK weapons? My understanding was that UK couldn’t supply themselves, at various points in the war, much less anyone else.

Japan already has the ZB-26, which they call the Type 97.

I mean, a lot of the rest of the things here were, as far as I can tell, either hopelessly obsolete by WW2 or not, apparently, used by the factions you want to put them in.

Where are you going with this?

Well, that would seem to indicate Brens for USSR is plausible. Well done.

Yes, they were from the Russian Civil War. British, American, and French forces were involved and making good gains, but they weren’t about to enter another war after WW1 (especially with how the whites were performing). They also collected British weapons from arsenals from countries they conquered when Barborossa happened. Here is a photo of Soviet partisans carrying Metford Mk IIs.

Trade for a trade is what I tried to do.

not a huge fan of captured weapons,

but the lewis, wi 70, newer stens and the bren mk III as well as the mp717 are a must.

Captured guns and shared guns are in a strange position, a lot common during the war and HA to be added in every faction, but at the same time they remove uniqueness from all factions…

In what sense ?
Murrica still has unique hvar spam capability
GE has cat
Soviets has everything the other factions has

Most of the gameplay is infantry, if you make common war gun such as Thompson, sten, bar, Kar, mp40, ppsh ecc bring shared between factions, it make unappealing grind faction who have uninteresting stuff aside some goodie or weaker vehicle Or require to much grind for get it

Like USA

If you give German their common gun as Thompson and garand, bar and some British stuff, you will just grind them for plane and late war tanks, and probably the faction would be even desert of player because some plane and tank isn’t worth the fatigue

And

If you are just in for the gun, German having the 30% of their ground equipment would be a better choice (without forget German getting soviet stuff to and Soviet getting both German and USA stuff)

Is a mess…

So no TT tech tree and shared gun should be very regulated to one or two piece of equipment nothing else, the rest should be event drop

And ? With that logic 99% of players should be soviets
There aint a single “unique” infantry weapon in GE arsenal that doesnt have better or direct copy paste with different skin in soviet arsenal ?

The above list doesnt even mention tommy or garand for germuts.
And then again both being somewhat not exactly so great guns that I doubt ppl would switch just becaue of them.

Actually grinded murricans just to try that hvar spam.

Id say the same applies here as above mentioned, how come everyone aint soviet then ?

And even before the T20 appeared to compete with FG42 ppl was playing murrica with theyr inferior infantry weapons.
And HVAR spam was issue long before the T20 even appeared.
Just like the big cats, even the M9 got its buff.

You are mistaken gun with similar stats with gun who are the same gun 1:1 skin, model and stats, Currently no faction have the a gun 1:1 shared in TT (Outside panzerfaust and C96) isn’t what im talking about

I highly doubt theres significant portition of players that uses gun X just for it looks.
And if I recall all of the faust’s can be found from soviet arsenal.

Thompsons aren’t unique to the Western Allies in this game. Are you aware the Japanese bought a large bulk of M21 Thompsons in the early 30s?

There are, most of player, play X side for use their stuff, not everyone go for the meta, you can find people who play USA for use their ww2 stuff and would be pissed if Germans get the same stuff (as they are pissed with soviet)

Aw i said up share the same 1:1 gun is in a bad placement because true is common and HA accurate, but it never need remove the uniqueness from a faction, otherwise the infantry part it would be less appealing

And they should

My point stay what’s The point of play a faction if you have all the common weapons of that faction in other faction?

Again

Captured and shared gun should be regulated to no more than two piece in the TT and the rest event, otherwise we have another call of duty a bit more realistic

And I’m not going change idea

Obviously ? And obviously I use the best equipment available, I dont care for the looks.

For all I care the P47 could look like this

And I would still use it for its outstanding spam performance

And wasnt this “HA” community declared as rather insignificant group as if someone got theyr face slapped in merge it was the mysterious “HA” community

And so was the PPsh ?

What uniquenes ? Skins ? Make them different color then.

Dude you can say whatever you want but

For me captured gun can really destroy the appealing of play some factions

I really doubt that, as its pointed out not everyone plays soviets that has literally everything the GE has.
And still ppl plays murrica regardless they have far less options at infantry weapon arsenal than GE.

And the unique looks is more than lame excuse.
None of the weapons looks has anything to do with balance of overall game.

Just no
