It has been confirmed that Keofox has left.
Whether it is War Thunder or Enlisted.
The era that Keofox represented has ended.
Regardless of his merits or demerits in his work, please let us remember him for at least 1 second.
I hope that the research and development content that Keofox once revealed and promised to players will not be terminated by the project with his departure.
I also hope that the new era will be better.
*keofox’s forum account has been cancelled, both in enlisted and War Thunder
did he died
may the old era end.
so a new stronger one could arise.
EDIT.
oh.
i thought he is no longer active on the forum… not actually missing irl.
i hope james meant that no longer with us as for enlisted project.
So we shall not miss him?
well… people comes and goes all the time unfortunately.
for one reason or another.
He is dead ?
Or he Just leave Darkflow ?
He was an hero, nevar forget
He quit or was fired, not from DF, but from Gaijin.
Originally I was very sad, but when I saw this picture I laughed again
This is a meme I made in September 2023.
Although some of Keo’s ideas conflict with me as an ordinary player.
But I will also affirm Keo’s active work in War Thunder and the enlisted community.
There is really no perfect person in this world, except for liars.
Some friends are still blaming Keo for his past mistakes, and some friends are nostalgic for Keo’s past feats.
But the parchment belonging to Keo is about to be completely closed.
Perhaps, in the future we may get souvenirs/soldiers about Keo in the game.
But our eyes are on the positive side, let us remember Keo and then move on.
I don’t know if Keo’s successor will meet you this week.
In short, keep hope and expectations.
Especially for the roadmap for the second half of 2024.
I have some suspicions that it had to do with the Open Letter. The timing was wayy too coincidental, which makes me also wonder about what exactly the dev team KNOWS OR DOESN’T KNOW.
There is a massive disconnect SOMEWHERE between the community and the actual dev team, and I’m hopeful that this change will work towards remedying that. I really hate to suggest that Keo was anything other than a community advocate, but this whole thing stinks like it was a sudden revelation that the players are unhappy with the state of the game.
The king is dead - long live the king
Quadro’s letter?
For me it feels like most of the issues forwarded to him never got a full acknowledgement from him, and it took the dev team a long time to actually fix.
Its the beating around the bush style of replies from Mr. fox that frustrates many, like the bipod issue for start, then a motion capture proposal that never got an update …
