The economy for new players will lead to bad reviews on steam

If you want to double your earnings, then please double the silver in the player’s inventory as well.
Thanks.
As long as the additional positive gain multiplier you are striving for also applies to stored silver.
I will support you guys.
For example: you guys asked the df to increase the gain by 100%, so don’t forget to please ask him to change the 20k silver coins present in the player’s inventory to 40k silver coins.

Yeah i don’t care but wouldn’t mind that. Like i’m already on 12M silver stack that will last me two lifetimes.

I just want this game to finally be in state where i can recommend it to friends so we can play together

They should slow the exping process rather than increase currency income.
Give the players time to get more currency. Then they won’t have to choose between a soldier and a weapon.

That’s not true, you can grind out any Tier 5 stuff in 10 good battles (not even mentioning lower tiers). That’s just too fast. If they scaled it up to 25 or 50 battles (they need to boost 180k exp requirement to at least up to 600k) , it would work better. And players would appreciate those grinded things more.
And for non-premium players, it would create pressure to buy something to speed up the grind. I think it would be a win win situation for everyone.

Just say you want to farm bots too feel good from winning

A pressure to buy premium or a pressure to leave the game due to annoying monetisation.

Personally I think that making a good game so ppl want to play it and (as a result) spend their monney is more benefitial than pressing them to buy something. But I don’t have any data to support this claim and I’m probably too naive.

At least they wouldn’t be unnecessarily burdening the servers with their presence if they don’t want to support the game.
I don’t see why that would be a negative. When most of the time you can’t even tell the difference if the bad player is a bot or living being.

Big player numbers = good press = happy investors + even more players (including paying ones)
Simple as.

Pure naivety

Of course more monney is more important.
But if you make monney with small playerbase then investors will pressure you to increase the number of players and thus increase the monney. More players = more monney.

Also if we use your model, p2w games would be super profitable. Maybe they are, idk. But they are also short lived generally.

The thing I suggest would increase grind even for paying players.
So I don’t know why would it be considered “p2w”. I believe the grind is unhealthy fast, that’s the problem. Experiences has basically zero value since you can get everything so fkn fast rn.

Btw. I possess so many experiences I can instantly get like 10 future stuff without any need to play a single game. That’s wrong.

That’s why there’s impression of getting low income. Since there’s always so many things to buy.

The rest of my “arguments” were sarcastic jokes that I didn’t mean

p2w was an exaggeration to show my point.

Most of this stuff is obsolete and not worth using anyway. All that matters is BR2 (BR3 if you want to desert a lot) and BR5 gear. So fast progres allows me to quickly skip useless BR3 and BR4 stuff.

That’s why I previously suggested this.

Btw. Fast skip is meaningless, because you still have to buy it.

I’d say Pay2Win is a thing in this game for one particular case : Paratroopers.
Everything else is a longer or shorter grind, but Paratroopers SHOULD be available without paying as a regular squad.

Still, this stuff is useless. You just have less of it.

Ah, I forgot about this little monster.

Pretty sure lots of new players come in to try the free game and will only start spending money once they decide its something they are interested in playing more long term
More people having fun earlier on will probably mean more of them pick it up long term, leading to sales down the line
If the fresh players players come in, are forced to use the now-awful starting carbines, get rolled over by overgeared and way more experienced people, then realise they need to play like a 100 games to get a single squad outfitted with bare minimum (lets say 4x Engineers, 2x AT soldiers, 6x BR1 rifles like the USMC Springfield, 2x M1 Bazooka, 6x Medkit, some grenades) is easily good few tens of thousands of silver. How much silver are new players going to earn? Probably significantly less than 1k per game. And they have to buy all the trash they might not want, just to progress the research tree, also siphoning all their silver away.
At least when I started you’d just level up and get at least SOME random weapons to get you going for free, plus even the worst starter rifles were almosts a guaranteed kill/down with great accuracy. Nowadays upgraded soldiers are like terminators against those dinky peashooters, up close chest shot and you might not even get downed
Good luck convincing new players to stick around
