The current state of the game saddens me greatly

I remember when I first played Enlisted, back in 2021, I thought, “Oh wow, this game is incredibly cool, the development team behind it is amazing,” and with every little update I received, I was happy because the improvements were really noticeable…

Today, after 4 years, the game is stagnant, almost in critical condition. Since then, not to mention the merge, it has improved almost nothing except for a few small things. The player base is still in limbo, poor decisions like removing GOs or blocking event rewards behind paywalls, the fact that only 1 in 100 suggestions are taken into account, and countless issues the game has that, unfortunately, the devs still don’t bother to address…

It really saddens me that a game with enormous potential has been wasted and fallen to this point.

Where did the initial interest of the devs in the game go? Where did those updates that really brought new features and improvements to the game go?.. The only answer I can give myself is that greed for money blinded DF or the snail infected them.

I’m mentioning this because I truly find it regrettable that a game I once considered my favorite is no longer fun for me and I practically don’t want to play it.

True this event has been eyeopening to me. After work weekday and it takes ages to find a match sometimes 4 or 5 minutes. With the same few players. I’m starting to think that the game is dying and the devs are just tryng to make as much money as they can before the ship sinks. This is with consoles only.

Most likely, all Darkflow’s forces have been transferred to the development of Active Matter

And Enlisted is being worked on by one Hindu for a bowl of rice

So, the game is dead.

either something is seriously wrong on your end, i play at all times of the day, very often, i never have any trouble with queue times, except sometimes with Japan. War Thunder is worse for queue times than this game despite having a less rigid matchmaking system, and that game is like 10x more popular. This game still has plenty of players, this is doomer shit. Doesn’t mean the devs/management didn’t screw up alot recently but this is straight doomer and false.

Enlisted is not dead, but the lack of real effort being put into it by the Dev’s is slowly killing it off. They have already proven that they don’t want to listen and address player concerns, which tells me they don’t care, or their focus is elsewhere, like Active Matter. They could do both effectively, if they had someone in charge with some vision.

Well, I personally have lost faith in the development of this game. It’s been years since I’ve seen any significant improvement, and there have been so many bad decisions made consecutively by the developers… I’m certainly tired of it, and I think the game will remain the same for a long time to come. I hope not, but I believe it is. I don’t know if the development of Active Matter has anything to do with it, but I doubt it.

Not long ago, I saw that Easy Red 2 came out on consoles, and I decided to give it a try, and I found it more fun than Enlisted. I might even end up switching to that game.

Recently, they have made a fortune. It would be great if the money could be used to improve the graphics and models of the game.

Was this ever confirmed that DF is also responsible for that game too?
Googling you can only find that is developed by the “Matter Team” which does indicate that it isnt DF doing that.

he is probably playing event with crossplay off. cause crossplay off population is much smaller than crossplay on and event is pretty shit so many people dont want to play it, it takes really long time to actually find event match for 10 or 20 people (idk how many are in the event cause i didnt even play it).

yes, it was mentioned that DF is responsible for active matter, but it is “separate team”(with probably 95% of DF) and “enlisted is still actively developed by its own team”.

“Matter Team” is owned by Gaijin Entertainment, they also own War Thunder and Enlisted (Darkfloy)

They just changed their name. If DF had been focusing on operating Enlisted but still ended up in such a miserable situation as it is now, there is nothing more terrifying than that.
