I don’t think a game company will make such drafts to other country ministry, it’s really weird.
Don’t want to solicit the opinions of certain countries, yet fear being banned by them. This is really a contradiction.

“Soliciting opinions” can easily turn into “asking for demands” really quickly.
If only the country in question wasn’t in a habit of dictating exactly what is and isn’t acceptable with no room for creative freedom.

I think if Darkflow is bold about making the Kuomintang Army the main force of the Camp and adds the Communist squads secondary there shouldn’t be a problem. They need to be as hardheaded as they normally are.
The Kwantung Army refers to the Japanese troops that invaded China. I guess what you meant to say was the Kuomintang troops.

You are correct, my mistake.
adding china wouldnt save anything… if anything it would just make game worse:
- you would get playerbase split with additional new faction
- at best china would be BR3 faction which is pretty easy to grind and devs wont sell many premium accounts cause of grind. they would need to saturate game with chinese premium squads to actually earn lots of money and it is kinda doubtful if they can find that many unique weapons that wouldnt already be in TT for those squads.
- game doesnt have servers in SEA, so chinese players that actually come to play international enlisted will all have >150-200ms latency which makes shit experience for all players
remember few bug fixes that literally needed 5 minutes to fix and were not fixed for 3-4 months after devs acknowledged them. not to mention merge that was in works ~10 months and one capable programmer could have done that work solo in a week or two.

Our game should keep away from any government and military utility. No matter how a country works, if it’s complex and risky about one opinion, that would just reduce the chance that it could be realized, as to our game, if you don’t really know how Chinese video game industry runs, better not share such points because that will mislead possible consideration.
First thing is, we actually understand how Chinese policy runs (We have Chinese partners), we don’t have ICP license, so we don’t release into Chinese marketing directly. But that not means that we abandoned players from China mainland regions, we know they have community on Bilibili, on Tieba and they have their own circle. We need to consider and assess a lot before an idea become a plan. And then, comes to the plan, we don’t have such plan to make entire Chinese tech tree in coming updates, our developers have lots of things need to do, your suggestion in your post is just a suggestion, it even doesn’t come to paper.
The most important is, no game company want to have direct relationship with a country government. In China, it’s different because the government would censor video game contents to protect the Youngs, so they have a special job called “Government relationship coordinator”. but this policy is towards Chinese company and Chinese domestic video games, not us, we are an international company without branch in China.
What I said “risky” is, if we make an entire Chinese tech tree, show something historical (That doesn’t mean the whole game is historical), like KMT’s flags and emblems, it will be harmful to our Chinese KOLs/CCs. We actual know Chinese platforms are forbidden to show contents like these, the streamer’s account could be banned due to such problems. Nobody could promise if that you put KMT army and communist army together into game would be safe to players, even Chinese government.

While we monitor player communities across platforms, content development prioritization follows rigorous evaluation processes aligned with our international publishing strategy.

I don’t know how my Chinese friend managed to bypass the ban and play War Thunder.
i dont see them as lazy. it is either that they have overly complicated bureaucratic process before implementation having them waste time on not actual work, or they have extremely small amount of programmers that can make actual changes to the core of the game that are swamped with numerous things that needs to be implemented.
also they suck at version control so game has lots of recurring bugs that have been fixed.
