The British and Commonwealth forces played a vital role in the invasion of Normandy but in the Enlisted Normandy campaign they are not present even though their main weapons are usable by the Americans.
In my opinion they could be added with little effort to the campaign replacing the US squad that use their weapons.
In the Tunisia Campaign the British radio operators wear the standard continental unform and their 3d model could be esily be transefered to Normandy.
To not loose the ability to still have those replaced US squad it could be implemented a new sistem of chosing the nationality of the solidier as I described in another post in the forum.
To be 100% honest, and maybe to show my Canadian roots as well, but if the British are put into Normandy, so too, should the Canadian forces. They are (Like the Italians) very under represented in WW2 games, yet were no less important IMO.
As far i remember the Canadian used the same British equipment so i think i not a great work to implement them, they just need to rename one one of the squad with a Canadian division and add the appropriate markings on the uniform.
They did, absolutely. Though you could give a Canadian MG gunner squad the Lewis Gun to be Unique if you wanted. Plus, even though IRL the gun was an absolute joke, the Ross Rifle is very much Canadian.
We have some rendition of Omaha on the D-day map, but Ver-Sur-Mer more closely resembles Gold beach than Utah. Also, the town Omer and Airfield is based on the site of a Canadian battle where they were sent to capture the airfield.
near ver sur mer, there is ruin of roux on right (for the defenders) and is full of carcasses of sherman and American paratroopers plane (A point in conquest), I don’t know about landing beaches (I only know the names) but if what you say is true, the developers in recreating it must have completely wrong the setting of the beaches
