They should limit the increase in BR, not just for a single weapon, limit it to 2 units and 5 weapons and a vehicle of said BR before increasing.

I see no problem. One player would have a hard time ruining a game alone…usually takes half the team to ruin a game.

I’ve already suggested restricting tier 1-2 tanks in BR V battles, but some people argued it’s important for ‘diversity.’ I’m not sure what kind of ‘diversity’ they’re looking for when it just ends up ruining the experience for both sides

Someone just choose to pick T-28 to his high BR lineup. And I don’t even think it’s stupid, as T-28 have very decent anti infantry capabilities.

It’s not like BR2 lineup is in BR5 match. Everyone can put BR2 stuff to his BR5 line up.
For example BA snipers, APCs… I don’t see any problem here.

T28 can’t see BR5, this is intentional by the players wh I want use it in BR5 and I’m all for it, T28 is one of the best anti infantry tanks of the game
