true, came out right after, still was op : )
if they would get rid of most the rubble and tank and car wreckages and instead add more infantry trenches - which then after being fixed actually dont work as an impassable wall for tanks anymore- that would be cool, so that infantry can cross âmore easilyâ from one side of the road to the other without getting spawnkilled.
That would work for me too.

Nice
Sincerely i think itâs the amount of ammo most tanks can carry, tbh it should be reduced the amount of coax mg ammo and maybe reduce a little bit the HE
I disagree with reducing a tanks ammo. It should be kept at a historical number like it is now. In fact historically alot of these vehicles actually carried even more ammunition the crews would find ways to stick even more ammo into their vehicle, thereâs a recorded instance of a Tiger crew loading more than 100 rounds into their vehicle.
I think a far better option is to give a more historically accurate loadout of ammunition. Different vehicles carried a varied amount of AP and HE depending on the role that vehicle played on the battlefield. I think thatâd be a great way to make some Infantry support vehicles more viable
yeah, also if tanks have less ammo, they would constantly need to drive back to the ammo point, or stay in said âgrey zoneâ even more, I dont see this benefiting gameplay.
They should cut and paste more from WT, where you have a range of realistic shells and can determine your own mix.
In many cases, my tanks have too much AP and not enough HE !
The very reason the Sherman 75mm was the workhorse of the ETO and preferred by many units to the 76mm with the crappier HE shell (ref Chieftainâs videos for those who lack context). In many games the amount of tank on tank action is relatively limited, and if they had adopted the better armour / penetration system from WT, you would not need much AP ammo for the engagement ranges currently present in Enlisted. Just like RL 70% of your shells would be HE.
Depends highly on the vehicle and the role it was meant to play. Tank Destroyers like the Jagdpanzer IV and 38(T) for example historically carried more AP over HE so itâd be interesting to see how the vehicle rosters change if those kind of loadouts were present in game
Sure but this is where we depart from historical aspects and take on the gameisms. There âmissionâ becomes whatever map youâre on, and the role given the design of the game is infantry support, hence my previous comment. No point handicapping tanks in game based historical missions which are not represented/implemented in the actual game.
See I donât think the player should have control over how much ammo theyâre taking. Iâd stated that Iâd prefer a historical loadout vs shortening ammo capacity. I think if the player has control youâll get top tier vehicles just causing even more trouble than they already do with a crap ton of HE in their inventory.
You misunderstand, its not the overall amount, its the mix. Historically and even in todayâs armoured warfare crews will tailor the mix towards the nature of the mission. The game can set certain minimums if need be, but I donât think that will be necessary.
Historically there was a set loadout for vehicles to carry. Various Divisions and Regiments carried a set number of HE and AP depending on what that units role was this would rarely change. A good example is the sturmgeschĂźtz batteries of the pre war and early war Era which carried a majority of HE with a small supply of AP. The ammunition load did almost a complete 180 once the Stugs role change to a more dedicated anti tank weapon. Outside circumstances like this though that load of ammunition didnât change vehicles were far more specialized back then compared to today.
well thereâs no point arguing over something this inconsequential, lets just say they allow a 20-30% adjustment of type on spawn in. On open maps where you may encounter more armour, you can balance your load out that way, on other maps where it will be an infantry knife fight you can bring more HE
