Agree with you there a lot of gear needs to be added to Japan’s tech tree. A lot of missing planes not just variants but entire planes. Japan weak guns and armor, but early in the war an air force equal if not better in some ways then all its enemies. Sorry enlisted can be a very toxic self serving place I’d say thank you for your service if that means anything coming from me…

it is a very interresting topic i wondered alot in the past… alot of BR2 Planes are better then BR3s and alot of BR4 could easy be BR1 or 2… I dont know, such a mess after they removed the Campaign System…

I dont think it should be a question even, the G2 belongs in BR3 easily. Even when it was in BR3, I never considered it a real threat honestly, you need both a good and a lucky pilot to make great effect of it.
Especially with how limited the render distance is.
What do you mean? Have you ever used those germans rockets?
They’re very good at popping tanks. Nearly as good as HVARs on p47 used to be before the nerf.
They’re worse only because you have less of them = need to be more accurate, but not significantly.
Talking of accurate, thats their main issue, they are the exact opposite of accurate, you can fire two rockets at the same time, directly at a tank, and one will miss by landing in front, the other will miss landing behind.
Blast wise, they are far better than HVARs ofc, but 4 of them on an attacker at BR3 is perfectly acceptable, especially how said attacker is particularly vulnerable to AA guns or fighter attack.
Maybe its just me now, but I think the 110 airframe at BR3 kinda sucks, especially compared to the airframes you will fight in BR2 and BR3. Like if I see a 110 with my P-40, or hell my Su-2, I consider that free score.
The only place they excel is at targeting infantry blobs, of which, might happen once or twice a match, so its only when the stars align that you see a 110 get one of those glorious 20 kill runs.
And even then, an aircraft could achieve the exact same with bombs.
That part is my opinion also…Shouldn’t really be losing to a BF 110 in many aircraft…(unless he jumps you, skill disparity or a brick aircraft)

I don’t think it’s so bad once you practice it for a few minutes in practice mode.
All that is required is to get used to them. But once you get the hang of it, it’s definitely not hard to predict where they’ll end up/hit.
I would say it’s still better airframe than Me 410 or Ju188. With having better pilot controlled guns (Ju188 doesn’t even have any)
It’s far more likely you are going to kill actual players with rockets, not just bots.
With bombs, it’s exact opposite. Very often it’s quite easy to find any kind of cover before they managed to explode.
So it’s nice that you can hoard kills. But there’s far lesser chance that you will wipe the whole squad including player.
kinda feels like a made up argument, since IL-2-37 or YAK-9T can do the same on BR3.
Anyway, helpers claimed that it was due to its rocket load which is once again seems like BS since than all of these aircraft should be BR4 as well
Overall, I agree with @Myrm1don that aircraft are all over the place with no clear line between whats worthy for which BR.

I dont know if I fully believe its “just try more” with them, even after using them for countless years in WT, I still think their unreliable af.
I think thats more a comment on how bad the 410 and 188 perform rather than justification of the 110 being at BR4.
For the last point, while you do have a point there, I think its kinda a non issue. Especially considering how quickly a player is likely to die running into the enemy without bots to draw fire.
It needs to go down to BR3 i’ve never seen them getting spammed as bombs are way better in most cases (especially vs tanks) so i dunno what Dark Gaijin was smoking by taking it to BR4.
Americans and Soviets have multiple rocket planes at BR1-3 and it’s fine because they are not Germany, that’s the usual hypocrisy.
In WT, I find everything much harder, as everything moves in a more swingy way and I can’t get used to it at all.
For me, Enlisted and WT are incomparable.

If you leave out the Soviet attackers and p47, g2 is one of the best attackers currently in the game. At least imho.
Japan doesnt have rockets for their aircraft, even though they have it the worst from constant aircraft spam.

Yeah i know, Americans can abuse 3x of them every single match
along with superior tanks (2x Shermans). It’s fine in DarkGaijin’s opinion screw both Axis nations and let them rot.

P38 is a undertiered pseudo-plane.
And it’s funny how the two best versions of it are identical in 98% of the parameters. Yet one is a fighter and the other is an attacker.
But I can never remember which one is the legacy one.
not talking about agreeing or not, but when I see you say that, And I think to myself, The IL 2 (1941) is even better again.
there are truly powerful aircraft at BR 2
All Soviet attackers are above average performance of their BR.
Their biggest problem is that they compete with each other. So some of them are basically never played by anyone.
