Obviously:
- There are many “great” weapons that couldn’t make the top 30.
- Weapons not on the list are still “good” as all weapons can kill enemies if you know what you’re doing.
- There are a few things that could be changed depending on your preferences, but this mostly occurs when comparing different weapon CLASSES as there are big tradeoffs, so if you do want to change certain things then around then that makes perfect sense.
- I kind of wanted to add the Browning wz. 1928, MG 42 (early), MKb 42(W) (gold weapon) and PPSh-41 box mag on it but couldn’t tbh, I know they’re all still very good and only narrowly missed out.

PPS-42 is the best gun in the game, because you need to spend 0 hours to unlock it and it outperforms anything except late unlocks and gold orders.
Also, IL-2 is technically a weapon, too.

Is it really that better than normal MG42? (Excluding it has half as much recoil)
yes… its just on another level. the only downside is the 50/150 ammo.
that and the mg45…
they just built differently.

At 20:31 thats wrong. You can easily find out by double tapping the trigger, if you do it fast enough it will only fire 3 rounds despite the fact that you hit the trigger twice. This implies that no trigger is accepted until the 3 round are fired.
ya, the rate of fire in burst mode is not 1440 but 650 ish.
Measured it once in practice.

Id say best weapons are relative. Some weapons and iron sights just feel right. Varies from player to player.

Clearly the best cqc weapon is an LMG.
MG 42 early has -50% movement speed, 0.3 ADS speed and almost 5s reload speed. Yeah its recoil is actually very good and the weapon itself is very good but honestly I’d rather use any of the others on the top 50 list over it because of the other things

Honestly, I’m probably a little biased because it’s recoil and recoil direction has always felt awful to me, and in the stats they are pretty high in comparison to the other ones on the list. It’s not a bad weapon, but I’d again rather use any of the other 30 on the list. Sure it has great reload speed and ADS speed but not much else going for it ngl
A better list than I would have anticipated. Only problems are
- 75 round MG-34 should probably be pretty high on the list
- Beltfed DP should be a lot higher
- PPSH-41 should be a lot lower, and is arguably worse than the Bramit which has no muzzle flash and reduced bot aggro.
- FG-42 should be swapped with the Scoped AVS
- FG-42 II should be swapped with the AVT-40 (Personal preference but those extra five rounds go a long way on otherwise similar weapons)
Better than the other tier lists I’ve seen though.

How about a list of the WORST guns?
S&W Light Rifle is the worst imo.
Mosquito bite is more powerful.
Last time I wrote that S&W LR totally sucks, it got censored/deleted so lets see what happens this time…
