German MG spammers in Moscow especially the ones that use premium MG squads are the worst that there are times that I have to take care of them because my unskilled teammates couldn’t much like I do against FG42s and MG34 patronentrommel in Berlin. Even Panzer IVs became more common when you can buy the tank right away with money.
I do happen to own both these infamous squads.
P2W elements:
- 5 MGs in a squad
- MG armed engineer
- Can build all engineer II structures
- Excellent perks set
- More default ammo (but this is probably in order to give RU squad the same ammo count of the equivalent GER squad)
NOT P2W elements:
- 5 men limit
- No alternative weapons
- Engineer has gunner perks instead of engi perks (this means no extra resources nor fast building) = can’t spam buildings
So, yes, in conclusion I’d say these squads do noticeably lean towards P2W. They’re not gamebreaking yet, but they set a dangerous stone on that path.

Well, it’s great that this squad is actually worth using. But I don’t like that it shows middle finger to all previous rules.
I don’t like that devs themselves create rules and then break them when they want to.
Because of that we can expect them to do antyhing to the game only because they want to, no matter how stupid it is.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we will end up with completelly broken, terminator squads as I stayted above. Because why not? There are no rules!

People asked for squads exacly like free variants.
Yet they delivered this types of squads.
I won’t buy this MG squads. They are simply wrong and they aren’t what I m asking for months now…
Have premium squads with the exact number of soldier with exact type of soldiers a free squad can have.
For example 4 assaulters, with premium weapons then 1 free MG soldier, 1 free trooper and 1 free engineer with free weapons as a normal squad would have.
Hard to understand why they don’t do it this way

P2W elements are usually more attractive rather than balanced squads

If they intend is to make money, more of it, having them balanced would sell way more than 5 MGs or 4 soldiers per premium squad.
None of them are as profitable as a full squad as premium.
There is a known fact that current premiums aren’t worth and most avoid buying them.
Oh, I sure wish my premium squads in general had a couple of regular slots to be filled with regular soldiers at will, too.
In absence of this, admittedly the presence of an engineer II (with full building catalogue) in a premium squad is a big selling point.
Also, don’t get me wrong: I fell for these because A) I still have plenty of leftover GJN from my time in War Thunder, and B) Moscow was the only campaign where I still hadn’t any premium squad. BUT, I’m aware of the danger and I’m not happy to see new premium squads suddenly making old ones obsolete.

Meanwhile I do not hear anyone about the premium motorcycle squad that also got a engineer with all the buildings and he has a smg. They also “break the rules”.

as far as i m aware yes lol. there was a topic to give feedback only for tunisia that as far as i remember pointing people to it, we were the only ones that could see it. i remember some one stating that couldnt see said topic.
