The Americans

I am not sure if the game developers hate America or are just unaware of who got the L and who got the W in WW2, but the Americans are by far inferior to both Germany and the Japanese. While I have played the Germans more, my win percentage with them is 69% with over 600 matches played. With the Americans its 49% with close to 400 matches.

The Germans are just faster. They seem to run faster, they draw weapon and shoot faster. They are more accurate. Guns are better. Tanks are better. It’s not even close.

I know in the actual war, the Germans were superior with a lot of this. But there is NO way to make up for the Americans vast numbers which overwhelmed the Germans and Japanese, in a game. So either make the Americans better or it will be only noobs playing the Americans, which will make the game even more lopsided.

I was speaking to a friend on the game and his win ratio with the Nazi’s was close to 60% and with the Americans it was 40%. I am not alone in this.

Maybe because noobies that are playing US don’t pay attention to perks. :man_shrugging: and are simply overall worse. (Logically, since they’re noobies)

I agree.

Germans and Japanese have better weapons and skills than Americans (when I say skills I refer to as you said running faster, faster draw etc.)

Now one thing I would draw attention to for example is the Japanese MP28.
It is a rank II SMG yet it has 50 rounds.

Even the premium Lanchester 50 round was BR III.

50 rounds is the combined total of both Allied LMGs (Bren + BAR).

You can just keep firing and firing and firing and take out an entire squad.

Meanwhile USA struggles with crappy Springfields and grease guns.

The springfield has a very weird reload that takes triple the time that should be necessary to cycle the bolt.

Excluding the Lee Enfield Mk 4, German and Japanese rifles are just better.

Id argue same both SMGs and LMGs.

The Allies should have the Lewis gun but DF refuses.

It’s not until BR V that the Allies are allowed an actual LMG, which isnt that great given its slow rate of fire (M1919).
Germans get the MG34 at BR III which is a proper LMG.

The Japanese Type 96/type 99 LMG is the best ‘Bren gun’ style LMG in game.

Now I like the BARA2 I think its a very good gun, but its an automatic rifle. Its not an LMG, and cannot be compared to the Te4 or MG42 or the two anti aircraft converted LMGs I forget the name of.

Id also argue that Allies have the worst teams since even at BR V theres still lots of Allied soldiers running round with Springfields.

Even the Allied APC is the worst. All other APCs stop when you stop driving.
The Studebaker truck literally will not stop even on flat ground, and lord help you if theres the slightest of inclines.
It will go rolling back and you cant stop it unless it hits a tree or something.

Watch this Australian ad its literally what happens when you use a Studebaker truck in game. Though in the ad the guy says he forgot the handbrake wheres the truck in game you cant actually apply a brake.

I previously did a post just on this issue, showing a real life studebaker truck which has a handbrake and got like 45 likes.

This is most likely true, because when I play Allies I am usually number one on the team at the end of the day, and I am an above average player at best. I always end up with more deaths then everyone else as well, because I am aggressive and rush in to cap points, where I rarely encounter any of my team mates, but I sure pass a lot of them on my way in. But especially playing with my Allies, I see a LOT of people playing who either suck, or have no idea what they are doing.

You raise a good point there’s so many times my squadmate and I are like “Where the bloody hell are you?” to the rest of the team.

We see in the scoreboard that there were other human players yet we just dont see them, theyre not capping, theyre not defending, theyre not sniping and theyre not driving tanks or flying planes.

What are they doing??? Having a CWA meeting in some random building way over to the side of the map??

This is really evident when your in your dive bomber because you can see where all your ground troops are at, and games I get my butt kicked, they are always far away from the cap point, whether taking or defending. The best way I found is to rush in and overwhelm the enemy, but apparently I am the only one my team with that philosophy. However, I stand in damn near every cap point watching out the window at my team mates who are fighting outside the cap point circle, never making an effort to at least step inside it to get capture points counting. Nothing more frustrating to be in a cap point that is 90% taken, but never gets taken because people refuse to enter the cap point, for whatever reason, but makes no sense to me, it just irritates the hell out of me.

Yeah 100%. Or when guys like you and me are the only one on the point defending (we may be ‘attacking’ but are trying to keep the enemy from retaking the point).
And thats it. We’re the only ones. We die, we run back, still no one.

Ill admit there are times when Im trying to defend said point and I may be outside the perimeter because theres more cover or something but generally I try and be on the damn point.

When defending a cap point, I am always yelling at my computer, where the f^^k is my help, why the f^^k am I the only one defending the cap point. After a while, I finally just say screw it and either jump in my plane and say screw you guys, you can defend on your own trying to ride out the game, or if I am beyond that level in anger, I just desert cuz it isn’t worth my time.

Fully with you mate and then all those tryhards who did bugger all will say its all your fault for “deserting” and you should lose 70% of your hard earned XP.

Out of every nation, Allies low tier tend to be the worst, most frustrating experience. (IMO)

Unfortunately equipment isnt the reason why… :no_mouth:

If I can ride the game out in my plane, I just do that, but if I am so angry and then get shot down and have to go defend alone again, that is usually when I decide it isn’t worth my time. I have played long enough there is no penalty that is going to hurt me, and losing experience points or silver would do nothing at this point. Those are good for newbies still trying to build squads, but I have little to build now.

That’s a player issue. US gear is pretty strong.

Yeah, I don’t usually get outgunned playing Allies, but I have some of the most mentally challenged people that usually end up on my team. I love Allies BR3, but for so long got honey dicked into playing against level five Japanese so I stopped playing it. For the most part, I play the Germans 80% of the time now. Lately I have been able to play some level three Allies and NOT get level five Japanese. Not sure if that will hold, but I may play more if DF keeps my three out of their five business

BR 5 Allies has been decent this week.

I have been testing some sound mods ingame as my BR 5 commonwealth deck, and even though Im mostly messing around testing, the teams have been solid

Usually BR 3 is my favourite, but as you say…sick of fighting BR 5 type HEI, Ho RI spam

They don’t, unless you play some weird mod where they are constantly on meth. What a delusional thread.

I can confirm this. I played 2 matches against germs and japs yesterday. And lost neither.

But annoyingly, they were destruction defenses.

They don’t at least not Germany

Mp28 has just 480 rof while Lanchester has 690 plus much more manageable recoil that’s why it’s at BR3. Actually it’s Americans that have superior smgs at BR2 with same rof and fight most underpowered BR2 nation which is Germany, Lanchester is just a much better gun than crappy MP40, we get wrecked daily by Soviet PPS-42/43 and USA Lanchester.

someone again forget to look at the stats, LMGs have significantly higher dmg per bullet so you don’t need more than 20-30 rounds to kill entire squad

Nope you don’t you have amazing Lanchester, cool event BSA Welgun, M1 carbine, Lee Enfield, BSA Thompson, Premium Thompson x2 (they are both p2w), M24/29, Vickers, Besal, Ross rifle (underrated). You can’t complain about gear since you have a lot of things better than Germany, Japan is obviously overpowered like Soviets so you should complain about them.

then go time travel and tell them to make something with faster rof, they had nothing available at the time outside of m2 stinger and you already had them as event weapon

Just like FG42 and yet both FG42s are set as rifleman weapons

Event UC is amazing, trucks were a mistake they are too tall and fat they are silver/xp pinatas

Without knowing personally your way of playing, I can only guess there could be many reasons in a broader aspect.

  1. Germany is one of Enlisted’s most played factions. With dedicated players across different battle rates, with specific lineups, etc. Plus better map knowledge if they’re veteran players. Better chance of getting full lobbies on your side, for example.

  2. Build rallies, and use APCs to get your team going. In theory, the math logic of winning the game is by spamming troops and keeping the point supplied with units. if this flow stops you are easier to be overrun by the enemy. Find flanks too, etc.

  3. Seek and destroy enemy rallies to stop the flow of enemy troops.

I have a consistent win rate of around 80 % with the allies, as well with the other factions, as I play them all. I follow these advices as a self motto to get consistent wins. Today I won 4 out of 5 matches with my plain bare-bones Allies BR II lineup. I play all servers.

Yet, you also have to accept that you can’t win them all. There will be matches in which you fought your hardest and the enemy won in the end. It happens.
