That engineers can lay anti-tank mines:

Engineers during World War II and today usually have mines equipped to place them in strategic places against tanks, although you can get anti-tank mines by buying them, it would be nice if engineers could place some on the battlefield.

It would be useless, it is so rare for somebody to step on AT mine because tank always take off road instead of the main unless they have to or just noob.

They could be real effective if you had a whole squad equipped with them so you could lace the whole field with them, but that’d be insanely expensive. I have a few and I usually forget about them and occasionally, unless it’s an urban environment

so allow enginner to bild mines?
doesnt sound very useful
maybe a large minefield that adapts to terrain would work. single mines are kinda garbage

What would be cool about that idea is that the number of mines could be proportional to the number of engineers in your squad. Say a 15/15 yard area, with them interspersed randomly. One engineer it’s pretty sparse, so unlikely to guarantee kills, but a full squad has a pretty good chance

Just build large field full of Anti-Personnel mines, definitely would work! :stuck_out_tongue:

Only way AT mines could be remotely usefull if they were to implement something like this is to force tankers out of the gray zone so they can’t camp in the back like a little shit anymore
