I played my first game of Fortnite 2 days ago - had no idea how the game worked, but managed to get a rifle and ammo, no idea how to heal etc…
The thanks are because practice at shooting bouncing bunnies’ in Enlisted was most useful - everyone else was in fancy armour and bouncing around while I just stood there and shot them!
As a result I made 9 kills, and won!
Am giving up Fortnite now to preserve my 100% record

I hate what consoles did to gaming as a whole. They appealed to the masses, and therefore have influenced the expectations of gaming in a very bad way. Everything has to be super streamlined (read as braindead easy and quick). This applies to menus, to matchmaking, to time ingame, to the gameplay itself. I despise it.
TL;DR: Fuck console plebs.

I fail to see how an easy and streamlined menu (or UI in general) should be a bad thing.

Couldn’t care less about consoles - last one I bought was a gamecube for my sons - they are in their late 20’s now and I sold it last xmas for more than I bought it for!
And whatever the menu was it was I couldn’t figure it out - and I won
Because life has more options than the 4 button the controller.

Even if I had 2 keyboards, 3 mice and a trackball, I’d still like a slim and intuitive menu structure rather than a convoluted, overcomplicated one.
None of the Gaijin games I’ve tried shine for the user-friendliness of their menu interfaces, btw.

And what would u use to manipulate all that?? You got a prehensile willy like that guy in The Boys??!!

I attended the same flight school as Enlisted pilots, who fly their planes by sheer willpower only.
