I am posting this thank you to the Gaijin Support staff and the entire team behind this game.
This last week, my buddy I play with almost daily had some account issues. Without going into the details, he reached out to the support team for help. This problem and how the support team handled it was sort of our final test for this game. We both agreed that we love this game and the future that it is going to bring with it.
-The team listens to the community and implements game improving functions almost monthly if not weekly.
-Squad vs Lone Fighter gives you two separate games within one.
-The way the campaigns are set up to give you a taste of the multiple campaigns has gotten me personally interested in learning about parts of WW2 I never wanted to before. This also leads to the ability to choose the gameplay I am feeling like every day.
I really could go on and don’t get me wrong, there are some different bugs or functionality/gameplay problems at times but back to the issue, my friend was having. Within 48 hours, Gaijin had rectified all the issues and then went above and beyond by giving a gift to him for his issues.
We are definitely agreed we are spending our money on this game for a long time coming to help support this awesome team. Keep up the amazing work.
Side note, the Battle of Point Du Hoc on Omaha Beach would be an amazing Invasion/Destruction Map on Normandy. I served in the 2nd Ranger battalion in the US Army from 2006-2012 and my unit was the one that climbed the cliffs on June 6th, 1944. I have studied the battle personally and even was given the honor to speak about the events of my unit on the 75th anniversary of the Fort Lewis Army Museum in 2019. I would love to help out with the creation any way I could, including maps and stuff I collected during my research!
