This short post is an appreciation message to the Devs for their recent Test Server. Personally I am thankful for the BP vehicle camos being fixed and the addition of British and Italian soldier changing. I think players are quick to show hostility towards Devs if/when things go south (myself included), but there should also be times of positivity towards them as well, and I think the current Test Server warrants some appreciation. That’s all
The Internet is a fickle place…
The only problem I have is the PPSH-41 (S) being TT, when all the other suppressed weapons are event and old gold orders weapons and kinda the Jagpanther, I personally feel like there could’ve been something better, but my main concern is the PPSH-41 (S)
Theres some nice QoL stuff that has been desired/needed for a long time. Keep it coming!
Certainly appreciate it
Just like five years ago, when I first joined the project, I am grateful to the developers for the true and realistic reflection of the eastern front in the game. And I hope that the project will delight us for a long time.
yeah… i am thankful for realistic depiction of eastern front with body armor, rd44, as44, t34-100, su9, loads of avt40 fighting against KT(H), fg42, conders and jabo. it truly depicts true and realistic reflection of eastern front…
"Suddenly, I saw a German fighter plane flying parallel to the road in front of me. This caused me some confusion. Where was it flying to, and why? Suddenly, it changed course slightly and flew directly towards me. This was even more puzzling. Could it be that the Messerschmitt had changed course for my sake? It was an honor too great to be true. However, my instincts took over, and I quickly rolled into a dune. A Messerschmidt flew low over me and fired a burst of machine-gun fire. It passed close by. I felt a kind of anger. I immediately turned over on my stomach. The plane was very close to me, about 100 to 200 meters away. I raised my AVT (Tokarev automatic rifle, which I had recently acquired) and decided to shoot the intruder. I calculated where to aim, as it was made of metal and therefore invulnerable. I decided to shoot at the right engine nozzle and fired the entire clip. I knew it was useless, but it gave me a sense of vengeance and satisfaction. And suddenly: oh, a miracle! A plume of black smoke appeared from the right nozzle, which thickened as the aircraft moved away. I was at a loss: had I shot down a plane, had I shot down a Messerschmidt? I didn’t tell anyone about it. I would be considered a talker and a liar. But in the depths of my soul, I still had the thought for a long time that maybe I had done something unprecedented and shot down the Messerschmidt with an automatic burst.
We went scouting every other day - a day on foot, a day on horseback. They always wore quilted jackets and cotton pants, both in summer and winter, because the quilted jacket saved them from accidental splinters. If a fragment flies 100 meters, it will only stick into cotton wool and that’s it, even from 30 meters it can pierce cotton wool and only touch the body, but when it explodes nearby, it’s gone! It’ll be riddled with everything, even if you’re wearing a padded jacket. We also had cuirasses. The cuirass wasn’t heavy, it was one and a half millimeters thick, but I only had it in the APC company. Well, it’s more of a moral defense. We didn’t have any masks, but we had a regular field uniform. The Germans had a tent cape, a cape cape, all camouflaged, but I have not seen anything like this with us. That’s why we wore their camouflage. Sometimes we come back - a scream:
"The Germans!
- What are you, fools! Your own! Recently passed!
when you miss forest for the trees…
my arguments is that currently you have prototype weapons vs rare or limited production weapons/vehicles.
- avt40 was in use, but cause automatic fire destroyed rifling very fast it was prohibited to be used in auto mode.
- iirc only assault engineers used body armor(so it should have been rare)
- su 9 was made in 1946
- me 262 was only made in limited production and it sucked as fighter bomber.
- fg42 was extremely limited weapon for paratroopers(but everyone is carrying it in game)
- as44 is prototype that never saw combat
- rd44 is also a prototype that never saw combat in ww2
- there was only limited number of federovs in reserve and it only saw use in winter war with most of them being mostly destroyed during it. there was no mention of it seeing combat after winter war and if it saw, it was in extremely limited numbers (e.g. dozens or maybe hundreds)
- t 34 100 has been made as 1 prototype that never saw combat
You know, my friend, one man looking at the night sky full of stars, the other complain about satellites running across the sky’s - the point of view.
I seen a lot of games about Eastern front and most admit - this game pay respect to those who give us chance to live. That’s my opinion - I don’t spread it
And as I show you some interview with a veteran - AT-gunners also had an cirassus. There is so much we still don’t know about this war
is it fun and is it restricted to a BR
