The research tree needs to be reworked. You’re telling me that I have to research six different tanks that I will never flipping use just to earn the tanks I will? Oh, mind you, most of those are casemates that should be in their own tree to start with because let’s face it, few people like those in the first place. Same for the aircraft, the heavy aircraft should be separated from the fighters. Also, you’d be able to do that without it looking messy as heck if you made it top-down like War Thunder’s. That’s another thing, it’s messy looking and crowded. Need to make it top-down, clean it up, and split the trees to actually make it make sense.

I love it how I was a couple of matches away from unlocking Panther A in Normandy before the merge but now I need to unlock like 5 BS early war tanks first and only then I can get back to Panther A again, so a couple months.

Same bullshit situation for me, except it’s the Tiger 2. Gotta go back and unlock a half a dozen panzer variants. It’s dumb as shit

I totally agree with you. In my opinion this new mechanics has no sense. Developers made a huge mistake by enforceing players to unlock weapons/vehicles the players do not need and do not want. Oh, sorry. You can unlock almost everything you want, but after all you see that yoy cannot buy it. This is a great misunderstanding.
By doing such things developers can only encourage players to remove the game from hard drives. I hope that developers would change this stupid mechanics in the future

i am all for the middle ground. want us to research it? ok, all the way we go. but AT LEAST they shouldnt make us pay silver for it, hell i would even suggest giving 1 free sample in the case of weapons, to grow interest in new players just unlocking new shiny toys. and maybe the first vehicle in each tier, perhaps? asking for too much, maybe.
they dont know the old as life method of selling, the first sample is free…
