Teammates destroying spawn points

If teammates are able to destroy your spawn points, I suggest it shows up on the stats in the end so we know “WHO DID IT?” This pisses me off, especially when your trying to get credit for it during contests when one of your goals is to have so many spawn points used.

Another peeve I have is parking your APC in a prime spot, only to have teammates building spawn points so close you can hardly select your APC to spawn.

Not only that the ammoboxes i was runout of ammo and my box was destroyed by teammate or his bot cuz they do it time to time i saw that too in front of my eyes he did, sooo its damn annoying and waste of resources.

I have had half a dozen games where I build a spawn point only to find it destroyed not long after its built, and I have been putting AP mines around them or on the route to them so I know it is not the enemy doing it.

On rallypoint im doing everytime an AP mine and dosnt matter if its my selfs or enemys thats a rule for my play style… Yeah well looks nice if u put an AP on a ammo box…

The other thing is enemy rarely destroys ammoboxes or sandbag or whatever they go on rallypoints

what really annoys me is when someone builds a rally next to your rally so the game defaults to the newer one meaning you no longer get any points for it, its annoying when you have one of those “Allies use rallys 30 times” tasks.

but they can’t, they can’t deconstruct it nor use weapons to destroy it

Thank you for your post.

I agree.

To my knowledge my rallypoints havent been destroyed by teammates though I guess I always just assumed they were destroyed by enemy artillery, guerillas or lucky infantry.

But I agree 100% about APCs or rallies built next to rallies.

Now Ill admit I’m Spartacus because Im in my APC and often there may only be one building that is as close as possible to the objective outside of the 70m limit and that provides reasonable cover.
Sometimes Ive hoped out and saw the friendly rallypoint nearby but I really cant be bothered moving my truck under fire (especially the Studebaker that has about as much control as a riding around in a shopping trolley, especially when it comes to braking. )

What I think would help is if when driving APC players get notified about friendly rallypoints nearby. Maybe a flag icon appears with a downward facing arrow in red or green to say Theres a friendly rallypoint already here so you know to park somewhere else. Of course not everyone’s going to pay attention to it but it would help people like me who make the innocent mistake.

Its also really frustrating as an infantry engineer when youre under fire, theres only so many appropriate places for a rally and theres already one nearby and then the game is giving you ‘red’ everywhere.

My squadmate gave up building rallypoints because every time he goes to build Computer Says Nooo and he just gets killed when he couldve been operating the AA gun, sniping, driving a tank etc.

The other alternative is if rallies/APCs were allowed near each other but make it much easier to select both. Like at the moment an APC spawn icon completely blocks a nearby rallypoint icon.

Maybe if they could separate icons and have arrows pointing to where they are on the map.

OR

As with other games just have a list of spawns like HQ 1 HQ 2 (the two auto spawns) and then
CaptainBeel’s rallypoint
Admiral_Wenli’s rallypoint
Luvs2spooge’s APC
blue3eyessS91’s rallypoint

And you can just click through them and see where they are and choose to spawn.

Furthermore Id suggest that anyone spawning at a parked APC is automatically spawned out of the truck so the spawn doesnt just stay ‘occupied’ and no one can use it.

Should players get a warning before spawning if there are enemies nearby? I hate it when you spawn in APC and instantly die because someone was blowing it up. Its hard luck, but then Hell Let Loose you are made aware beforehand if a rally is being overrun so you have some idea youre spawning into a firefight.

running it over with a vehicle will destroy it

I don’t think that’s how it works…

It isn’t.

Two rally points built close together look like one on the map. But they do operate as two separate ones. XP is given accordingly.

That benefits you, you have to find out more about the game before answering…

Maybe not, but somehow in three straight games, I was losing spawn points faster then I could rebuild them and everyone of them was sand bagged in with AP mines at the entrances ( I don’t normally waste an AP mine on a spawn point, but after they kept disappearing I started to lay some to see if it were enemy.) When I created them and would die, several of them were not showing up, so on one I went to check on one and it was in a horse stable and in the grey zone so the enemy would have had to enter the grey zone, all doors AP mines were still intact but the spawn point was gone inside the sand bags, so, IDK what happened. The teammates spawn points were not that close to some of mine that disappeared. Normally I don’t pay attention, but I was wanting to stop playing but wanted to finish that spawn point goal before finishing, and it took three additional games to do it because my spawn points kept disappearing.

You should check out the replay to find out what happened to your rally point.

A while back, maybe 1+ year, I had this problem too a few times.
I build a rally, start to run to the objective, but within just seconds I got the message that my RP was gone.
Same situation as you, there simply were no enemies there and teammates cannot destroy your RP (unless driving over it in a vehicle).
I watched the replay: it was a bot from my squad or team that removed my RP.
I even posted a video with proof in the forum.
I hadn’t seen this problem in a long time, but yesterday suddenly once again.

The one I was most suspicious about I went back and watched the replay. I waited till I saw my rally point was destroyed then switched to every dude on my team, then on the other and that one was the enemy who took it out. I guess I did not AP mine all doors as I did not have enough guys, so I missed one and the enemy dude happened to come through the non mined door. I’m not going to worry about the others, probably something similar or maybe artillery took them out.

I played another where I had a ideal spot for my APC and when the game ended, had zero spawn points, but I think that was due to all the other spawn points built all around my APC, so no one used it, except me and apparently you don’t get points for using your own, or I should have been credited with 5 or 6 spawns.

Honestly sounds like the best of both worlds there.

Not technically no I know, however with how the UI overlays it, its very unlikely your point gets used anymore unless someone is pixel hunting for your one.
