Team VOIP at some point?

Hi, I was just curious if development was ever thinking about implementing a Team voip system that is similar to Hell let loose for example? I feel like it would make for some funny interactions as well as better team communication. Just a thought :slight_smile:

Would be nice actually however it would probably be spammed with people screaming:

“Get on the point fuck sake”
“Oh my god that guys hacking”
“Learn to play no skill faggot”
“Mark ground targets fucking noobs”

The matches are mostly filled with bots who you want to talk to.

You forgot about music spamming and screaming none sense ppl all day.

So such a option should be off on default, im just not sure if voip would be helpful or just EZ troll tool.

That’s why games have a mute player option in the overlay.

I still remember the golden days of source mods you got some rather interesting characters using the voip.

Can be fun just got my doubts that not even a chat with friends in menu is there which complicate things quite a bit.

you can add people as friends and call in game if you are playing together

its easy to add someone and talk to them. an open team mic would be horrible in this game

We already get one since 2020. Use F2 key.
And game mysteriously set it to “toggle mode” as default. So many players are not used to it.

Also, if they want something interesting. Use 3D-VOIP system. Like RS2.
Also, not many players can listen and speak English. Write and read is much easier than listen and speak.

It’s only for parties (when you are in a group).

(And tbh I’m quite happy it is as my friend discovered it by accident and started yelling in german.)

I used this function when I switched from RO2/RS2/etc which games need some level of cooperate to Enlisted in CAT. But then I found voice chat is useless and too few human, so then I completely forget this function since late CBT.
