Anybody knows how to disable tank’s sight snapping function? When I look through the sight, it would snap to surround objects. I sometimes need to move the tank to stop snapping. It seems like a console feature, but I’m on a PC. I searched options but found nothing.
Could you send a video or at least some screenshots?
Don’t forget the sight is NOT the canon itself! It’s always to the left or right of it. If theres a lampost in front of you and you want to aim slighty left of it, but the canon is to your right, chances are the shells will hit the post and not where you aim at. The penetration indicator IS aiming from your tank gun however. I believe it’s what you are referring to.
Yeah, there’s a T shape indicator that tells you where the shot is going. This indicator is the one that would sometimes snap to surrounding objects.
It’s what I thought: it doesn’t:) it’s showing you exactly where your shell will land, because the sight port you aim from is not centered on your tank gun, but offset left (or right) it doesn’t matter much at long range, but is important to take in consideration at closer range when debris or other things are near.

The upside down T would snap to other objects.
I see. Damn…it’s very annoying.
Thanks!
It’s a big help when you get used to it: it also calculates the shell drop over distance. (You aim towards the sky, but the pen indicator is straight on target)
Yeah it’s not a bug but an L2P thing.
It isn’t “targeting” anything but telling you that’s what you’ll hit. Which means you need to move so you can aim properly.
If you want to get more used to it. Try War Thunder, also by these devs. It’ll help you learn the tank and plane mechanics way more. Although the handling on planes in this is way wonkier than in War Thunder.
