Regarding may Tanker Infantry ---- now I can choose whether or not to get a backpack for Klondike bars or a Secondary weapon slot. In the event I choose a Secondary weapon slot will they be able to carry the Springfield 1903’s or just another submachine gun Currently their only choice seems to be a Submachine gun or a pistol so my guys bail out with knives … wooo hoo
I gave the subs to my assault gentlemen …
Regarding the Backpack it seems this only affords one to carry extra medic bags which frankly is nice though … so is this the only thing a backpack affords …???
I always take the backpack. I made the mistake of choosing the secondary one time and had to retrain it. It only allows you the same weapoms as are in the primary. A big waste IMHO.
Backpack allows more ammo, more grenades, or more medkits/toolkits
The backpack slot can be equipped with grenade pouches, ammo pouches, or backpacks. The backpacks will let you carry extra medkits or toolkits.
I only like the secondary weapon slot on troops that can carry additional weapon types, ie Soviet assaulter with SMG/Shotgun
Backpack on tankers is the way to go. I give all of mine a tool kit and a medkit.
They can heal themselves from inside the tank, and outside they heal and repair at the same time.
Tankers can never have a rifle so the secondary slot is just a massive waste. Get the backpack and put extra med kits that can be used while still in the tank
Ok thanks but just to me a rude person I think its not a backpack slot or a backpack its an Equipment slot …
reason I mention this is in case a noob like myself reads this thread then gets all confused
I think the way it works is if you get a backpack you get to have more an extra medikit if in this slot you choose a grenade pouch to put in there you then get to carry extra grenades you can of course click on this slot and put in a backpack and switch out your grenade pouch finally if you obtain an ammo pouch you can carry extra ammo but I think its minimal so pointless as it is pointless to choose this as a weapons slot … because its simply the same weapon type …
