Tanker losses

So, when I drop bombs on tanks, occasionally it will say losses four tankers and show the tank with four people blinking red, however, I check my kill count and it didn’t record any kills. So, are they dead, maimed, fine but their tank station is unusable or what? I also don’t get a tank kill credited, so I assume that the tank is still operational.

That is another thing, when I do get tank crews killed that are credited, but don’t get credit for a tank kill. I am not a tank damage specialist, but if bombs are powerful enough to kill all the tank occupants, my guess is in the real world that tank is NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL, and should be scored as a tank kill…IMOP

Shrapnels from your bomb probably hit some tank with an already dead crew inside.

Aren’t dead crew members shown as black instead of red?

It blinks red, but the crew could be black and its showing red around them, I can’t remember on the spur of the moment. Hell, I can’t remember what I ate for dinner. :joy: I’ll pay attention next time it does that, which is usually at least once a game when I use my planes a lot.

Already dead crew members are shown as well regardless of them dying to you or to others.
Dead crew members do disappear from a tank after a minutes though, its weird mechanic.
