I love the fact that we have tank Wrecks, but when I have destroyed 10 tanks, the road is absolutely blocked, especially in Berlin!
@1942786 you did day this was something you were discussing with devs I think.
Whether it be engineer only dismantling, which makes more sense, or use explosive (Stalingrad C4 only perhaps?) to remove vehicle wrecks or blow them up… whichever or open to other ideas.
I just hope they become lighter and movable by tanks.
It’s incredibly frustrating to spawn in a graveyard of Pz IV wrecks and not even be able to aim or move against the spawncamping enemy tank.
Lehrter Bahnhof, Wilhelmstrasse, Ruins of Vaux, Omer, even some parts of St.Lo. When people spawn lots of tanks despite the enemy team has a much stronger tank that can just eat all those tanks alive.
I suggest giving the wrecks a HP so they can be destroyed, like the wrecks in the RTS game Company of Heroes 2
Next update will introduce recovery tanks to remove tank wrecks. Calling it now.
Serious note would be good if they could be removed like when you remove an enemy sandbag wall or something just give a longer time to deconstruct it.
Thing about deconstructing, I mean you gonna do that under HE fire? Blow up wrecks HP or C4 only, is quicker, holding deconstruct might be a bit tricky…
Just a suggestion & yes I would attempt that as it’s not different to deconstructing barbed wire and sandbags under HE fire now just a longer deconstruct time
Maybe they should just also disappear after a while, when none of the players are looking at them, not to disrupt the beliveability of the action.
This might be how it works in Battlefield: tank wrecks surely disappear, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one actually dissappear into thin air.
PS another important improvement would be to always have 2 different spawn points for tanks to prevent graveyards.
No, I don’t want to be able to remove, destroy, or delete vehicle wrecks, that’s silly. There might be other ways to fix this, but I really don’t see it as an issue. The heaps of destroyed vehicles blocking up roads is cool and accurate.
If you want to move wrecks, push them out of the way like what was done in real life, or add a tow cable.
Push out the way, might be ok, but pzIV pushing an is2, or Panther hmm…
