Tank spawns are very rough

I get it. We don’t want them getting out too fast. But it’s been bad for a while now. On many maps, you still spawn boxed in between those indestructible steel trees, and low obstacles like stumps or wreckage that can’t be seen or removed from a tanker’s perspective.

Some tanks (high tiers) are so thicc that they spawn halfway inside obstacles/boxed in by debris/needing to turn 90 degrees on the spot as their first action to escape.
It’s especially bad on Berlin. Streets are narrow and get clogged after tanks die there, the play areas are small, & there’s often only one road out. It’s way too easy to camp.

I suggest giving tanks more flanking routes on tight quarter maps (especially Berlin), and clearing indestructible debris from spawn locations (there’s enough obstacles outside).

and if a dead tank is a barricade and it doesn’t need to be dragged away?

many people take equipment tanks and trucks and simply plug the enemy’s entry point to the capture point or in Berlin just make a barricade of 2 tanks and the enemy does not get on the bridge and the tanks do not shoot through it with land mines

I don’t see how you are disproving my point, though. What you are saying is that tank barricades are just impenetrable barriers that need a method of removing.

they do not need to be eliminated, they need to be mined, as a properly installed barricade can change the fate of the battle

A tank barricade could be created with the above mentioned strategy and Czech hedgehogs.

anti-tank hedgehogs disappear in the gray zone and the barricade is empty forever. I put mines in front of the barricade and the enemy when he tries to push the barricade becomes its chat

that’s why they say it needs to be changed, permanent blockade is OP, there is no counterplay to a plugged entrance

I found out that some trees can get destroyed by my HE shells but most can’t. It’s a weird inconsistency, we should be able to destroy all trees with our HE/AP/HEAT shells (1-3 depending on how thick is that tree) or even mg shots (10-15 shots). In War Thunder and Easy Red 2 you can destroy all trees it should be like that in Enlisted.

Some maps the tank spawns are so so rough.

Now I love the new Adrennes map, but last night I came across one of the more aweful ones. It really didnt help that I was downtiered into shermans with the panther.

Attacker tanks spawn half way up a hill fully exposed (and side on no less), Defender tanks can spawn in defilade, and can have shot at the hillside spawn by peaking over the mound to the right. Attackers can forget about spawning in again…especially sherman vs panther.

Also Same map Conquest, 1 tank/halftrack spawn lands halfway over a ledge. basically spawns you on your side and you have to abandon.

I agree with the suggestions here.

Personally I dont understand why they cant make proper spawns, hell even Roblox can manage that.

Like at the moment spawns are random so as you say we get spawned wedged between trees, hangars and radio towers, stuck in a trench etc.

we should just have a clear empty spot where tanks spawn and maybe like war thunder some element of protection around that so tanks cant be straight up spawn camped.

I also agree with towing tank hulks.

Ive requested bulldozers be added especially for Normandy and Pacific to clear all this junk out of the way as well as paths through trees and so forth.
