Tank sight (penetration indicator) is aim elsewhere

Annyoing thing happens, when you try to aim precisely with you tank’s crosshair. The thing is:
The crosshair is directly aim where the Red Penn. marker is. (I want to shot that little pixel where I aim with my crosshair)—>BUT…the Penetration marker (Green) is jumped to the vehicle/wall or someting, automaticly. I think it annoying and unnecessary now.

Imagine if you want to shot a soldier, who hideing behind the front of the tank. You cannot shot him with gun/MG, cause the penn. aim is jumping always to the tank…

Yesterday Situation: Airfield–> Allies Stuart comes from the spawn site and keeps shooting at my teammates. There was 1-2 transport wagen between us (some of them was map design, some of them was real, controllable vehicle), ant these vehicles are cover me from enemy Tank.
I wanted to shot a little bit above the transport vehicle to aim the turret of enemy tank and kill his crew.
But Enlisted says: NO…the penn. marker jumped to the vehicle and I shoted that, instead of tank.
I aimed upper, lower…go forward a bit…reverse a bit…nothing…Good…its waste valuable seconds to surprise enemy. (Sometimes lot of thing happens under seconds, that was a similar situation when It would have mattered a lot)

The BLUE quiestion mark is: Why is that mechanism is there? Its not called auto Aim, than what is it?
Can I turn it off to enjoy a little bit more the tank battles again?

P.S: In Crossout, the same aim behavior is added, and sometimes its aslo not aim directly where I want to shot…weird thing…do you guys met with this?

I would like to be removed, if its not able to be turned off somehow…

That only happens to me when the coaxial MG line os sight is blocked.

Or,. On turretless tanks the MG can’t transverse the same angle as the main gun

Or, there is a pile of debree in front of my aim relative to the cannon direction.
