why not allow players to jump on the side of a tank?
Well, i want to see this feature
maybe not THAT many. but enough for a full squad?
Me and the bois
My T-28 always become a public bus for my teammates…
"Don’t take this seriously"Imagine a tank squad that comprehends both the tank crew and additional 4-6 troopers riding on the back that can be swiftly deployed at you command to support you against enemy infantry, or cap a point without leaving the tank
Maps are not really that big, tanks are (mostly) slower and usually have other priorities than giving free rides.
i was thinking about adding this into the OP. However this would likely make the tank a bit OP since you could scoot all the way to the objective with a bunch of AI tank riders , press X and cap it.
a bit too easy
I would love that!
I cant imagine it would be op considering how easy it is to snipe commanders off of tanks right now. One enemy could just wipe your squad
it would only be OP if you spawned with your own AI tank riders on your own tank is what i was saying
if we get larger maps then yeah 100% add this, but as it stands they maps aren’t large enough to add these kinds of stuff
Which is why this wasn’t done in the middle of combat. Yes in the rear areas this was done on occasion but once the bullets started flying no way do you want to be riding a tank.
Even the half tracks would unload their squads in a covered and protected area … They just didnt offer that much protection
3 or 4 for transportation would be interesting
I am quite sure that using soldiers as an IRA armor is against the Geneva Convention.
But jokes aside, the maps in Enlisted are not big enough for this feature to be implemented.
What they could add instead is ability to ride on cars just like in H&G. Currently the cars in enlisted have a limit of 4 seats, which is bit stupid considering that most of the squads consist of 5/6/7 soldiers.
Heroes and Generals had an awesome feature that allowed vehicles be maxed out by letting them use non intended seats
This would be really neat since it would allow the entire squad or even more to be transported on a single machine instead of having half a squad sprint after you.
The maps are too small though, aren’t they?
they are and you can hop onto allied tanks anyways
